Res Dominae! Happy Easter, boys and girls.

Mine was pretty boring. Women outnumber men in my family and do a lot more talking, and to boot most of the young guys have been working, or moved, or spending time with their families or idunno, not even one husband-in-law present. A whole lot of sitting around, nodding off, and getting hot. Somebody had this wonderful idea to open all the windows and doors and turn the air conditioning off. On a hot day. I was like, "hey, can someone show me how this antiquated [piece of garbage, I wanted to say] works?" "We got the windows open," they said, "so let's not turn that on." SO BRILLIANT

I got to help hide the candy for the egg hunt for the first time. Sure was the most exciting thing I did today. Aside from Tactics Ogre in the car ride home. I hate it when we meet at my grandma's house for the holidays, and now it's the place we go because she can't drive on the highway(she does get the occasional stroke, or she had one before, so I think she can't drive at all, don't remember). I don't care what that makes me. The little things just add up.

All's well that ends with candy though, and the kids got some candy and that makes their day, so I guess it makes mine. I guess. Happy Easter!

That day, I received some chocolate. That's all. That's chocolate day for us in my family.
