Hope everyone had a great Christmas! Don't put your party hats away though, New Years is coming up in just a handful of days! My New Years resolution is 1920 x 1080. I unashamedly stole that joke.

I was thinking about this as the family was lazily watching an old Christmas detective show: is there any specific piece of media you always watch/listen/read around Christmas time no matter what? For me it's listening to Hark the Herald Angels Sing on Christmas Eve while we all decorate the tree.

I end up watching at least 1 Christmas movie before the holiday, usually something like "Die Hard" or "It's a Wonderful Life," depending on my mood. p

Nope. Not me.

But me and my sister usually do something together. We went to watch the Hobbit the 24th at the movie theater, a few episodes of Shingeki no Kyojinn back home (her reaction to the scene where ---------- dies was hilarious) and we played some video games.

But no, we don't have that kind of tradition.

I used to watch the first saga of Robotech and scheduled it to end on xmas day and coincide with the episode of "Season's Greetings". Something very point about ending a war on xmas day.

I sat down and counted all the Christmas's I've been through and the one activity that was in the majority is what I'm going for as my Christmas tradition.  So my Christmas tradition is working an extra long shift to cover for the holidays.

I find it so strange that some places are open during Christmas. Big shopping malls are closed in my region, including Wall-Mart. But McDonald? It closes at 6PM.

*Shakes head.*

Good thing I didn't have a shift then. I feel sorry for you though Arch.

I liked working the the holiday shift, Double the pay, half the people to deal with. Seems like a win win to me :-P
