Tuesday's Tension
From 2/25/14
Sorry about that whole fiasco last night. As we continued in the "island", if I got that right, I could still feel tension left over from when Javan decided to hang back. Then, when I literally became made of money, I was frustrated, outraged at the possibility that I might have to spend even more time in limbo while the group decided how to go about bringing me back to my original state. This was further worsened as we spent more and more time trying to figure out what to do, and when not finding anything, not leaving the room.
So that's why I didn't find it funny. I understood the humor, but I just got mad when it kept going. I wanted to say something, but short of yelling into my mic or lashing out verbally, I didn't know what else to do but disconnect. It got the point across clearly. I was also hungry, so I ate something. I have said "excuse me" before when I missed something, so that wasn't really enough, but I didn't have to come back and start lashing out like I did later. I apologize for that.

I'm actually glad you lashed out and not kept it bottled up. I've done that before, and i know that only leads to disaster.
I said it yesterday, but i really took "excuse me" literally and repeated myself. It didn't even cross my mind you were getting upset. Maybe that was my fault, since i was in need of unwinding myself, and just couldn't resist the opportunity to actually have a laugh. My mind had been all over the place since the thing with the hand, and wasn't paying as much attention as i should, or maybe things wouldn't have gotten to the point that they did.

I'm still confused about the hand thing. Was the soul bound to it the same necromancer that got killed early in the campaign? From the way you spoke to him, it sounded like you were familiar with him.

Not really, that was General Emanuel, that we encountered before when we were leaving the cyclops walls, after escaping Pharasma's realm. We fought his spirit, remember?
As for how i talked to him (and this is true of Hig as well), i usually try to sound direct, unconcerned and non-hostile when speaking to a powerful unknown quantity like that. I figure it's the best default approach, and i'm never much for decorum anyway.

Glad this situation is resolved.
As for general Emmandurel, I sent his soul to the after life. The thing in that hand is probably some sort of copy of his spirit. That's'just a theoruy though. He doesn't seem evil, but I doubt he would feel remorse upon takingmy body. We were in a desperate situation, so that's'why I used it. Hope I don't have to do it again.
