Lol. Why are you guys trying to capture a spinosaurus? They don't look like much use for riding.

You have to de-fin them. See what you do is you tie the thing down, take a saw made for the task to its fin, and push and pull the thing back and forth across the fin on the Spinosaurus' back, sawing it off in a brutal fashion that's sure to have it whipping about and making noise, so you'll need people to hold it down while you do it, and something to keep its mouth closed. Don't want to get bit in half.

Maybe some kind of riding platform on the head/neck? I bet you could fit a lot of stuff on one.

So Christmas has come and gone and some of us are left with a few gifts we want to show to our friends. That's basically what I am going to do right now. I bought my first TV HD. I know, it's not really a gift from my family, but it's still a Christmas gift, right? So that's what I bought... along with a Wii U. Me and my sister played Super Mario 3D Worlds on it and it was HILARIOUS. We enjoyed killing each other so much that we stopped after 2 AM.

Anyway, did you know that the Wii U had a Youtube app? Here's what it looks like :

My awesome TV HD :

It's actually quite simple, you just fold the fin down along their back and it becomes an ejection seat....

You can kill people in a Mario game? Koopas, Troopas, and Bowser don't count.

....I still like my "cut off the fin" idea.

First of all, grats on the TV Zeiss.  Not sure I like that stupid fellow on it, but otherwise awesome.  I've heard Mario 3D Land is tons of fun too.

Secondly, you haven't actually answered the pertinent question yet Snarg; WHY this particular creature for mounting be?

Rory, in Super Mario 3D Worlds, you can pick up your allies (the other players), and throw them into the abyss if they do not resist.  That's really fun, especially when the players decide to kill each other instead of beating the game.

If you want to see that in action :

I should also add that there is is almost no dialogue at all. The only line I saw was "Help me!" coming from a little fairy and you see it on the interactive select stage menu. The whole story seems to be told without any dialogue, which is awesome since everyone in the world can play that game and understand it. But I refuse to play that game without my sister (the only person willing to play with me) because all the fun reside in cooperative murder.

And this talk of dinosaurs is confusing. But it makes me want to watch Jurassic Park now...

So, funny thing. I sat down to dinner at home today and when they were getting my drink, they were talking about how I'd switched to coffee. Well, I finished my meal first and took my glass to get some milk and sugar in it, cuz it was dark. Well, turns out that my "coffee" was actually a glass of V8 fusion...no wonder it felt cold and changed to a lighter red when I mixed it...

So I tried to "save" it, and I even ended up adding hot cocoa to the mix. Now I'm getting a daily dose of caffeine with a grape and raspberry flavor. And cocoa. Not unpleasant, but very confusing and "off" to the taste.

Well I need to get my copious amounts of caffeine somehow Razz

Because I didn't want to waste that sugar and milk, and I didn't want to drink V8 like that. Also whenever I refer to V8 in the sense that I'm drinking it, I will never mean V8 original, I would rather DIE!

Not sure I understood correctly Rory, but your family pulled a prank on you, is that it? Your deadpan sense of humour is difficult to perceive through text.

Anyway, I am a few hours in Assassin's Creed 4 and I just got my boat. I thought I would share my first impressions of the game for those who are interested in buying it. First of all, the graphics are sublime. While the artstyle is noticeably different than the other entries in the series, it was done to fit with the story, which is also told differently. The kind of humour we see within the game could not have been possible without the "new" artstyle of this game. And I have to admit it is kind of refreshing.

The music is, of course, impeccable. The gameplay, while familiar, still has a few additions that are more than welcome. But I admit I have not fully explored them yet. It will take me a long time before I finish this game, though I am really excited about it. I haven't encountered one bug so far, which is not unusual for a series like Assassin's Creed. Here's a picture of the game on my new TV (got to show off my gifts).

Because me and Kolson are talking about other things. Making small talk. We are not really discussion D&D stuff since he wants to take a break from it. I just asked him on the fly if I could have some items and he said yes.
