We've been deciding things together for a while now. I don't want to screw anyone over by doing whatever the crap i want without regard for other people's input, just because my character can right now.

Yeah, take from the guy that almost got the party killed by doing something dangerous on his own, K is doing a great job.

This warehouse is in the warehouse district. The district is not under guard, the warehouse is. When you're given "North leads to an exit, South leads to an exit, and 'continue' just continues", you pick one of the exits, obviously one of those is closer. Trust the narrative, do not pick 'west'.

I was trying to ignore that last part (meta and all), but that's that, then.

So, we can help them flee, set them up for capture, or ignore them. I think we should help them flee.

*confused*

Help them flee? They didn't commit any crimes and the soldiers are surely smart enough to not waste time on them. I'm not even sure what we can do except telling them to run.

As i understand it, they're already running. The only way we could help them flee is if i pick one up and carry him/her.

Unless i'm misreading the situation.

Well you see, human stigma, our fault for being down here, and so forth. 'Smart' has nothing to do with it.

I guess I don't either, considering we're both fleeing from the same thing.

Well, i was gonna post "keeps running", but it's kinda weird. There's not really much i can think of doing there other than turn somewhere i shouldn't, but i know where the exit is, and if squatters are nearby, i'm guessing it's not guarded.

Well, like you said, there's not much else to do.

EDIT: You could ask them if the way ahead is clear.

If squatters are in the Veil it's because someone let them in.

Oh....

Well, crap. That changes the math, and i was so set on running straight ahead, too.

Like, one would think the military guys who had this adverse reaction to our murderous presence wouldn't have just let a few squatters walk by, right?

Either way, guys, wanna follow them? They might know a better escape route - they seem savvy enough.

Well, not necessarily, as these paths split a bunch of times. Still, going by Arch's post, i kinda doubt a fake sewer grate in a back alley will be very heavily guarded, so i think i'll just keep going.

(how eloquently can one post "Character keeps going, i wonder.")

How's that feel to be arrested for a crime you didn't commit!? Humans, I'm talking to you! How's that feel!? You don't like that huh? Huh!? Well, boo-hew! Taste some of that injustice I've been bathing in for the last two months!

As opposed to getting away with a crime you did commit, like we're doing right now?

I say we make for the docks. Give them no indication whatsoever what direction our home base is, at least until we're sure we're not being followed.

I imagine we can be lost in these streets, if we want to.

Getting out through the docks and returning to the Den through your entrance?

Sure. Anything to get them as far off our trail as elfly possible. I just hope they don't come knocking on our door before long - or storming through for that matter. The Alluvian military certainly doesn't lack for options on forensic analysis, i'm guessing. I mean, one good Scan and... yeah.
