A long and prosperous life

Post by Rory on Fri Feb 27, 2015 6:37 pm

Shared on Twitter, just a few days before he passed on:

"A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. LLAP"

Leonard Nimoy

Spoiler:
I didn't want to put this in the OOC because I think at one point or another we've all been affected by this man or his works. That said, if you don't want to allow a thread dedicated to the memory of such a person to be available to read or post in on the forum for very long, feel free to take it down after a week or so, Archengeia.

Man, that's just like a samurai's last words before rushing into a losing battle for the sake of another.

I hope people create a statue of him (not Spock), so we may all remember that behind that awesome character was an even awesomer man.

You know, i think it needs to be said, despite how sorry i am to see him go: He had an amazing run.

I mean, he lived to a ripe old age, kept working pretty much until the end, then died at his home with his family.

Despite his lung complications, that's as graceful a way to go as anyone ever gets in this life.
