Saying Hello Empty Saying Hello

Hello! Some of you might know me from the twitch stream, but this is bigchunk1. I have been watching the Derenth campaign videos and couldn't resist the temptation to get more involved! I haven't played D&D much, but I have seen it in action and have done some research on it so I sort of know what it's about. I find it very appealing that, rather than a computer program with hard rules (and bugs), a human is running the game. This allows possibilities limited only by the imagination and allows for a collaboration of players and dungeonmaster to create a unique fiction by literally playing out the story. The setting of Derenth specifically appears to be well thought out and rife with intrigue.

I'm not sure what to do next exactly, but I look forward to at least reading up on what has been going on and following the current players on their adventures.

What up, Bigchunk! Aside from reading the D&D stuff (www.d20srd.com), I'd recommend going through Arch's stuff at https://docs.google.com/folder/d/0Bz-lEDSl7cA2UzFMdUJnd0lDOE0/edit to get a feeling for the setting and also look at the rule changes/additions he has made. Although I know we currently aren't accepting new players, creating a character using those rules would probably be good practice and is fun to boot. Let us know if you have any questions about anything.
