On the smuggler's ship

After listening to the story Tarnag told him, Zeiss goes to the rail of the ship and to observe the ocean. From time to time, he would open a journal and read it. Then write in it. He tries to not distract the crew that is working, but the place where he is relaxing seem to be relatively free of people.

at some point after fixing the odd looking members of the team Tab steps up besides Zeiss.

so it seams that you got on the first mates good side, and god know we need it right now? so Zeiss how much do threes guys know about us already?

Zeiss looks at Tabran. He is still writing in his journal, but takes time to answer.

"They know about us being disavowed by the Order. Still, they do not believe the official story, so we are fine. Until we reach Holtburg."

do you think they will help us? beyond getting us to Holtberg in the future maybe?

Zeiss closes his journal and puts it back in his sack. He supports himself on the rail to contemplate the ocean.

"The First Mate did say they would. He gave me a contact and I memorized it. No need to put the address on paper."

Tab looks out to sea for a bit

"well its a start, we have something to build on, i hope that Grimlock is willing to help but we will see in the next few days if he is"

"Gremlock?"

He glances at Tabran.

"Gremlock won't help us. And if he wants to, the Order probably suspects him of it and would use him as a trap. Assuming he wasn't imprisoned."

"form what the Warden told us the Order was having its arm twisted and the only way to get out of it in one piece was for them to drop us in it, and while i dont like it i can see were they are coming from, but anyway one of the letters i sent off with the wardens friend was to Grimlock to see if he would be willing to help us?

"I just hope you made sure we could not be tracked from it."

He thinks for a moment.

"Not many people will be willing to help us."

"i more concerned about then com coins that Z has i hope they know what there doing with them.

as for people helping us it doesn't have to be many too start with i have some ideas that's my bear fruit as for not been tracked i cant see how the letters could be but that all depends on our little anit-magic friend.

but how about you do you have any ideas?"

"Do I have any ideas...?"

Zeiss still looks at the ocean.

"We disappear. We change our names and find a place where we can be forgotten. Avoid the problem instead of confronting it."

"and what if they wont let you be forgotten?"

"If they capture me..."

He thinks for a second.

"I will probably be imprisoned or killed."

"im not thinking captured as if you dont mind me saying you seam purity slippery and i will do my damnedest to no let any of us be captured, but whatever it is we got court up in seems to be powerful... the nightmare thing found us in the middle of no were so did the warden, it may not be so easy to just disappear and even if we did the flames of War may burn us out of our hidey holes."

"You assume I will leave and try to disappear. I won't do it. Not for now anyway. I'll stick with you a little longer and try to find out what is happening. So do not worry. We will continue to share blood, sweat, drama and gold."

"well im kind of hoping for less of the blood part *Tab smiles* but im fine with the rest"

tab looks out to sea for a bit more

"you know we should check over the team before we get into dock i dont want anyone carrying something that may get them killed when there going thought costumes?"

"Yeah, good idea."

Zeiss takes a purse of his sack. He opens it and throws the contents in the ocean. It is gunpowder.
