February 15th: The Zeiss & Snarg Show

"I was doing it another way!" Snarg snarls back, storming off to the side of the ship facing the town. He looks out towards the town and waves at the townsfolk and other party members.

Zeiss, sighing, decides to go back to his search of clues.

Both of you find two major facts that are odd. First, the ship is critically understocked; no food stores, no alcohol or water, no grain, no spare rope or tackle or net or anything. In fact they only have 5 rounds of ammunition left for their 16 cannons. The ship was on the verge of becoming a very expensive coffin.

Second, there are no pieces of paperwork or communiques or knick knacks or anything whatsoever that you find, even after searching the entire ship.

Zeiss comes back on the deck, exasperated.

"Great, nothing... That ship was going to be used for the attack on this town alone."

After giving it some thoughts, he decides to sign with his ring of light to the shore :

We took care of them. We are coming.

He repeated his message many times, hoping that someone would understand the code. Then he decides to swim back to the shore, not before asking to Snarg :

"You coming?"

He jumps into the water.

Snarg glowers at Zeiss. "Not yet." He turns and continues to poke around the ship.

The ship looks like it's of Aluvian make in design, probably made by Xelios Drive Yards, but that doesn't narrow it down any. Given the setup of the ship itself and your knowledge of the subject, it's clear this vessel was custom-built to someone's specifications, and not simply jury rigged or upgraded after the fact.

Huffing, Snarg walks back up to the top deck and checks the ship's anchor before diving off into the water.
