Re: Characters For Approval
Just to make sure the GM won't rule thusly, in NORMAL D&D a paladin can't associate willingly with an Evil alignment individual lest they suffer the consequences.

Re: Characters For Approval
Paladins are a bit different in Next and I've modified the flavor a bit as well in this setting. Since K wanted to play one, he actually gets a custom background. His source of powers are a bit ... different.
Now, I'm not saying you'll get along like best friends, but there's no rule enforcing that you can't get along without losing your powers or that you must kill each other.

Guess I'll ask here. Decision on hit dice per levels past 2?

Re: Characters For Approval
We all knew this. Even his female cleric of life only cares about money.
On a side-note, I rolled a 1 on my hit die. ;_;
Edit: Yeah, Snarg made it clear it was a standard 'roll-for-hp' at level up.

Ask Third to roll for you. He said he'd do it if you didn't like what you got.Essoje wrote:We all knew this. Even his female cleric of life only cares about money.

Re: Characters For Approval
Thanks, but that's fine. I'm going to stand by what I rolled. I don't want to be the target of the fury of the dice deities...
Yet Another Edit: I just noticed how you can have all kinds of strange stat distributions if you start in a class, but you can't dip a few levels into it unless you have a minimum stat prerequisite by multiclass rules. I was going to dip 3 levels into fighter until I found out about this. Go figure.

Re: Characters For Approval
You can roll your own and then decide to take that or you can decide to take mine, although you must take mine if you do that. You essentially get a second roll if you don't like the first or just want to gamble.

Re: Characters For Approval
With my luck lately, you'd probably manage to roll negative numbers some how.
