Edit: Oh yeah, shopping mall's wifi? Kinda sucks. But it's better than no usable internet. Also, the virtual tabletop for cards looks amazing in the Cards Against Humanity video.

At least it has been somewhat stable for the past few hours, even allowed me to install and update Linux Mint on this machine... at about 1/3 of the speed I've contracted.

I'm glad you asked that, K. So I looked it up and turns out it's got something to do with Latin and Greek. This dates back to the 16th century before the misconception that it is intended to remove the religious connotation from the word.

From wikipedia: The "-mas" part is from the Latin-derived Old English word for Mass,^[1] while the "X" comes from the Greek letter Chi, which is the first letter of the Greek word Χριστός which comes into English as "Christ".^[2]

I've marathoned all the episodes of Disney's Star Wars Rebels currently out. Lost points when characters actually used "street rat" to refer to Ezra, but other than that it's got me hooked. Y'know I think Ezra is just their persona of Aladdin from the Disney movie 5 years younger give or take. But with a lot more depth.

I went to the Pau'an page. He looks prettier than the species originally looked. Maybe just a temporary design choice coming from demographic, considering this is Disney. He's the series' Big Bad, and so far he feels one-dimensional. What I'm more interested in is how Jarrus and Hera hooked up, and Hera's history in particular.

Yeah, I'm hoping we'll get some expanded backgrounds for those characters before season 2+ but we'll see. I mean, it took the Clone Wars a bit to find its legs as well.
