I'm embarrassed to ask this but are we in new round yet? I'm not sure if I should post my next action and I don't want people waiting on me.

Well, since Arch posted the result of our actions, we're in a new round I guess.

All well and good for you, but I'm still unsure if my action will be included as part of that round, or if it carries into the next. Also I like how bold we're being, but I'm a little worried for Higaide.

I'm sure Arch's obligation to looking after his niece while Xan is working is making it difficult for him to find the time or motivation to post in between. However, less time streaming means he's more likely to post on the forums instead when he's online.

I took 38 and I'm now down at 45hp, not counting my 14 extra Rage health.

Arch, can i burn another charge and an AP for my next action? I get the very distinct feeling that it's gonna be make or break for me in the next round. (plus, i don't think i've ever spent an AP before)

Okay no longer changing diapers. It's like this; From now on for every day (aka 24 hour period) you get two AP. One for combat, one for non combat. This change's actually been in for a while now for the live campaign.

Now we attack the leader. He has the key, I know it. All I have to go on is my ability to accurately point the finger, but I know he has it. Is he close enough to charge? I want to strength check him and knock him prone.

Well he's just taken off running at full tilt so he's about 180' away as of now and ducking into the sidestreets along with his men.

Okay. We just need to free our friends, manacles and all. We can put the equipment recovery assignment on hold until we do. We can't head off the cowardly leader and take the key from him because that'd mean we'd have to leave Javan and Zeiss struggling, or struggle with them an never reach the fleeing guards. I'm sure Higaide could probably loot some weapons and valuables from the unconscious guard in the interim. Here are our options, we just try one first and then the other. Also, I'm listing the things in the order I personally prioritize them.

Option 1: I can give Zeiss my lockpicking set. This will require that I get to him, or that he gets to me. Higaide and I could haul Javan up to Kolson and then I could hand over the lockpick stuff and Zeiss can just go to town on those iron manacles.

Option 2A: acid. Pouring. Requires 2B.

Option 2B: We can return to Khinz'Lizakh's stores(this is purely for removing the manacles completely and not to prioritize trading loot). Then, exchange loot for some bolt cutters or good thieves' tools, or just have someone there finish removing the chains completely, whichever's faster.
