Fifth Adventure 03.1: The Path of Light

"I say we try the door before we dump the orb."

"Well, i'm going for it."

*Tries the light door.*

Without warning you see the pool ripple, as if someone had thrown a small stone into it.

Zeiss gets his rapier ready.

Spoiler:

Snarg leans in towards the pool curiously, furiously shaking the orb up and down over it.

"Hm?"

Higaide:
The Light door has no handles nor other seams to pry open. You have no idea how to open it.

Zeiss:
The doors do not look naturally crafted, at all.

*Checks the other doors for any kind of handle, or whatever can be used to open.*

Hanuel steps over to the portal-pond, looking for anything that may have changed.

Snarg:
To be clear, is the Orb touching the pool or just shaking over it?

Higaide:
All three doors look identical in construction and type.

The Pool has not reacted to anything that you're aware of other than giving a ripple earlier.

Zeiss uses his magical ring and points it to the door of Light affinity.

The door is now more brightly lit than earlier.

*Checks the ceiling for any change.*

Zeiss: What color does your light ring produce again?

The door does not have a receptacle for an orb of this size, nor indeed any other features.

The ceiling is currently unchanged.

"Hm. 'ey, nothin' ventured." Snarg stops waving the orb and resets his grip. Sticking his tongue out again, he leans over over the pool and quickly dips the orb in to it and withdraws it again.

The second the Orb touches the water it is sucked in, and might pull Snarg in if he doesn't decide to let go.

"AWOUHAH!" Snarg yipes and springs back from the pool with a wide-eyed expression.

Spoiler:

*Scrambles over to Snarg and pulls him back.*

Zeiss looks at Snarg.

"You lost the Orb right?"

He sighs. Then uses his ring on the door of Light affinity again. For at least 15 seconds.

Snarg barely manages to recover in time. They spot the Orb go flying into the pool.

Higaide:
Already curious about the ceiling, you hear a strange sound and look up moments before you see the Blue Orb come falling down from the ceiling and land on the ground with an audible thump.
