Hanuel takes the Warden stone out and sets it on the table. "As much as I'd love to question the Warden, it wouldn't be right for me to take it."

"Wait, Han. What if I had a way to make it so we could keep the key safe and you wouldn't have to leave?"

*Z laughs clearly embarrassed.*

"Damn I'm still learning my way around. Can't believe I have myself so turned around..."

*She pulls nervously on a strand of white hair which has escaped its confines.*

"Erm... would you mind leadin the way?"

"We're in Holtburg. The best shot at finding that is likely to be outside the city. I'll set up nearby, and you can drop in on me once things start to settle down. Unless you have a better idea." Hanuel starts packing up, slipping the key into a folded article of clothing.

"i was told that the Boss's were in the underveil? was i told Wrong?"

"This thing is so far beyond us, I don't know if we could if we had years to study it. Non-magical teleportation? If it's true, we have no way of interfering with it."

"Will you at least hear me out? Away from the key so they don't hear what I have to say?"

Veil Group:
Though a bit suspicious they lead you through the labyrinth of the Upper Hidden Veil. You eventually find yourself in a fairly large area, what looks like a warehouse section, with large rooms opened out to function as offices. The first room you are in is decorated with various skulls and war trophies, including one piece lovingly preserved which you recognize as the entire exoskeleton from a Armordillo. There is a fairly tall Ogre in the room, practicing unarmed boxing punches against a massive bean bag, which a couple of Dwarves are trying to brace.

"..." Hanuel sets their bag down in the corner, and nods. "Not far. Not that I don't trust Rory, but I don't want to leave the room with only one person in it."

Tab stops and watchs the ogre trying to get a feel for how he moves when fighting incase they are forced to try plan B.

Tabran:
The Ogre is a very skilled pugilist. He is light on his feet despite his size and hits hard enough to shake the room a bit.

*Z lets out an appreciative whistle*

Snarg clears his throat and pats Tabran on the shoulder. "You got this." He steps back and looks around the room.

There are no guards in the room. The two Dwarves handling the punching bag look to be in good shape, like dock workers, but are unarmed.

"I understand. Come into the corner with me and we'll talk a spell."

When Han gets to the corner and they are both facing the wall, Kolson whispers, "We can't break the connection, we'd likely get an explosion when the energy escapes and goes critical when it can't find a suitable outlet. But we can hide it, for a time."

"How? This thing is unlike anything we've encountered before."

*After another well thrown punch shakes the ground under her feet Z pipes up.*

"That's one mean swing you've got there, mister. Say would you mind showing me how to do that. I've never been to good with my fists."

Veil Group:
The Ogre gives one last punch before turning and stretching. "Thanks, little missy. Always been good with my punches." He gives a one-two combo to the air before walking over. "So many people to see me today! What can I do for you?"

"i am here to see Thackis, of Meadowsong First of the Talon. i take it that you are Bonebreaker his Second based on the skill?"

Hidden Veil:
"Oh HO, are you now!" The Ogre's grin remains but it gets meaner looking. "Well that's totally different. Of course I won't let you through to see him. Not unless you got something really important to say, and I really don't think he's interested in girl scout cookies."

"Well, it won't be easy. You now how when you Weave an object, part of your soul or life force is put into that object? Well, we could smother that bit of Mirror Key creator's life force with some our own. In theory this would mask the connection. At least for a time. We'd need multiple people to do it and it will still be dangerous to those involved."

*Z grins attempting to mimic the combo but puts too much effort into it and throws herself off balance she ends up in an undignified heap on the floor.*

"I don't want you in that kind of danger. I'm the one who took it, it's my responsibility."

*She crosses her arms and pouts for a moment (which of course makes her seem that much more younger) Then she looks up and spots the bean bag. She walks over to it and practices.*
