*Goes inside with the the piece of Harkun's armor and the bag of rocks, which are not being carried by him, because that would potentially mean suicide. He makes for Silvina's chamber. Hoping to whatever lucky star out there that she can give him something, anything, that will give him a hint on where to go next.*

"This piece of armor belonged to Harkun. It seemed to have some kind of magical residue on it. Could you perhaps make out what it is?"

The Matriarch frowns, and reaches out a hand before hesitating, refusing to actually touch it. "Someone..." she frowns at it. "Someone teleported to this object... via magic I can't quite identify. There's... horrible murderous intent in it."

The Matriarch gives a bemused look. "I can tell you why right now... to kill him. As for who..." she reaches out again and closes her eyes, concentrates for a long while on the enchantment before withdrawing her hand and shaking her head. "I'm sorry, this... vile magic is something beyond my expertise."

"We found Harkun in the desert, his throat was cut and his body had been poisoned so it decomposed rapidly" He stops for a second to let the information sink in "Are you telling me that he died from this magic and not from his wounds?"

"No no," the Matriarch shakes her head wearily. "Think about it for a moment. Harkun was in the middle of the desert, as you say. Anyone on approach would be seen for some distance. Yet it sounds like there was almost no struggle, especially since their throats were slit and they had no other damage. Clearly," she points to the armor, "someone had 'marked' that magically somehow to teleport directly onto Harkun. I doubt he even realized he was being followed before he was dead."
