February 21st:

Rory glared at him for a moment, then took his hand away from his axe and walked closer to the room's exit, shaking his head.

Kolson walks up to the Tumideon and quietly says, "I know our ways are strange to you so I'm going to try to explain this to you as nicely as I can. This conflict is not unnecessary. We are caught between a rock and a hard place and pulled in multiple directions at once. We know what we have to do but we don't have to like it. Trust me when I say, we will do what is right in the end. 

With that said I will ask you to keep your insulting and entirely unfair comments to yourself while we come to a consensus. These are my friends and they deserve respect."

Snarg takes a few deep breaths and comes down slightly from his glowering mood, raising an eyebrow at the Tumideon's words. "I wonder if the Eleven have ever had a disagreement ever," he mutters, leaning up against a nearby wall.

Looking up from where he has been sitting on the ground, watching the argument play out, Gwydo speaks up, his gravely voice thick with emotion conveying the difficulty of his words. 
"Snarg. Being a Paladin it pains me to not help those in need. But we can't help all of them. Those that we were to help would spread the word and people will flock to the complex, regardless if the healing room is still active. We won't be able to keep them at bay, nor from exploring where they shouldn't. ""The mages and healers will do their best, across the entire continent, to help those that they can. This room, this place, is not for them. You know it. Deep in your heart, you know this to be true."

Snarg sighs and looks up at the paladin. "We could've found a way, Gwydo ... we didn't even try," he says sadly. Looking back down, he stares stone-faced at the ground in front of him.

The Tumideon gives no noticeable reaction to your jabs, but answers matter-of-factly: "The Eleven have never had cause nor need to dissent amongst one another.  They were together in their strife, and used that to form bonds of fellowship,  and have retained to this day."

Meanwhile, the room has slowly started getting darker and darker as the energy begins to seep out of it.

"We need to leave, or this room will lose all it's power." Rory walked out of the room.

"It's no different for us. Our conflict helps to define who we are both to ourselves and each other. Just watch, they'll figure it out."

"Feirnaceal, I think we've got to get that stasis up before we go on. What do we need to do for that?"

Fierneceal, now that you are paying attention to her, has her eyes closed and is concentrating, a lightning-arc energy flowing from her hands into the grass below.  Those who are outside or looking outside notice all the hallways and rooms are flickering dimly as well as the garden, as the energy of the entire facility is being drained.

The Tumideon lets out a strange sound of metal scraping on stone.  "Interesting solution.  Will continue to observe; probability of optimal outcome, low, but curious."  It fades away into the air like a mirage.

Javan, who was now back from a bathroom break, enters the room and stares in awe as Fierneceal does her magic thing.

"So... what did this do? Also, what was that thing just now??"

Snarg looks around the room worriedly, inching away from the wall he was leaning on. "Is ... this what's supposed to happen in stasis?"

Rory walked back inside. "Why'd the lights go out?" he asked.

Kolson rejoins Tia and waits for Fierneceal's answer.

Fierneceal says nothing at first, until finally the energy gives a small jolt and with abruptness the entire facility goes pitch black once more.  After a bit you hear her voice from the blackness.  "I sent the energy that the facility caught away, channeled through this room and its function, up into the world above.  Everyone nearby is getting bathed in healing energy as we speak... it's a big diluted, but it will hit a vast region."

"Uh... Okay, now we have another reason to move the airship, as people from the Order will come investigate the source of the healing effect, probably with the best of the intentions.", Javan sighs, but is a bit relieved that this will force them to move.

"Well done, Fier, well done!" He pulls out his flint and steel and lights a torch so they can all see each other again.

Rory sighed and leaned against the wall, stricken speechless at being proven wrong. He avoided speaking or meeting anyone's eyes. There had indeed been another way, and he was a fool for not having thought to ask.

"Now," she mutters, panting slightly. "That was a little tasking so I need to lie down for a bit, but after that we need to get heading out.  If anyone has any other things to get done, now's the time.  I'll be up in about an hour."  Fierneceal headed towards the exit, lighting one of her own torches and heading for the actual barracks area.

"You can do that?!? Thank you! Thank you!" Snarg leaps forward and grabs Fiernaceal in a giant bear hug, a broad smile on his face. "Today there's a whole load of people that don't have to bite the dust because of this!"

Rory headed for the exit. "Well, better make sure none of us are cursed, now that the mines have been taken care of."

"I wouldn't mind taking a look at this airship everyone has been talking about. Join me?" he asks Tia.

"Sure," she returned, looking forward to seeing the ship as well.

"Excellent. You guys still have torches right?"

"Yeah, but if you're planning on going to Aphus Lassel, you're not going to be able to reach it in an hour. This place is really big."

Snarg of Wildpaw wrote:"At the very least use this room on the people who got smashed by the wave. I know we can't help all of them, but there's no use letting all this energy go to waste when there's some people outside who need help."

"The whole world got 'smashed' by that wave, Snarg, just like the last two. If you really want to help people help destroy the monster behind them."

"Mmmhmmmm, I'm up for that, Z. The healing's done now anyway, thanks to Fiernaceal."
