"I'll be coming along if your permissions can be worked to accommodate that. You mentioned the Sho experimenting with elemental soul transfusions. I've seen something like that, but the... outcome... didn't look like what you showed us. Is anyone else experimenting like that, perhaps with desolates as the test subjects?"

"That sounds grand. Which reminds me, we should go get Oghren and the archweaver and finish up this ritual. I'll see you guys in a bit."

Kolson and Tia leave for the inn to do just that. It's also a nice excuse to gather up anything he may have left behind.

"I'll need to let you and them in and out, Kolson. Come on, I've got some stuff to take care of outside too." Snarg gives a knowing glance at Z and almost says something, but stops short with his mouth open. He turns back to Kolson and nods towards the door.

"That works for me." Tia nods in confirmation. They stop by the inn and collect Oghren, the archweaver, and stop by Kolson's old room. He tries to salvage the Amulet he was working on.

Not sure what kind of roll, assuming you even want it to be one, that is.

You are fortunate the amulet was not made of metal, as it is likely parts of it would be fused with you now. As is it is simply a fine dust that is sprayed across the room, with no trace of magical properties left.

As Kolson is picking through the rubble, Snarg is busy scratching on parchment with a quill. He produces four separate pieces and rolls them up, stuffing them in his pack. "I'll need to stop by the postal service, assuming they're still taking anything. I'll be back while you're looking that over." Bounding off through the door, he makes his way to the postal service in town.

Kolson sighs. "I came really close this time, didn't I?"

Tia snorts. "It would have happened anywhere, Kol. You're always tinkering with things. Just be thankful it wasn't worse."

Kolson holds up his hands in surrender, "Fine, fine. You've made your point."

A beat passes.

"Well, I think we've got everything we need here. Would you mind getting everyone together. I'd like a moment alone."

"Sure, Kol." She puts her hand on his shoulder and then leaves the room. Kolson stares at the wall contemplating his mortality, but this soon gives way to his next Weaving projects. He's never been one to stay down for long.

While you do manage to convince the local Country Rider postman to take your letters, in doing so you have to wait patiently in line while a few dozen other people do the same, and he warns each person individually that letter delivery is being delayed due to unusual circumstances.

Every refugee you see in sight, as well as the Dwarves in town, are feeling much better and much renewed. There are no injuries, sprawled out people, nor moaning or wailing. There is a great deal of muttering both in the standard confusion and surprise.
