The next thoughts enter your mind and are not spoken vocally. And what can a being like you do that would provide sufficient to accommodate such a debt?

"The same thing that the other 'fleshlings' have done or are thought to likely do in the future to have received aid from your masters. The more I learn of this Gold Lord, the more my goals and Fiernaceals seem aligned, and yours seem quite aligned with hers or you would not be here. Though I'm sure your masters would believe me a pawn on their chessboard, I cannot help without that device and... the channels through which I would have normally operated for such maintenance are in chaos."

Pawn? There is an odd sound of metal grating on wood that comes audibly from it. Fleshbeings are to be taken care of, nurtured, and aided from a distance. It is only recently we were compelled to interfere directly. The only thing required for your request to be accommodated is sufficient reasoning.

"... I just need... a...good reason?"

*Z shakes her head.*

"Well what is my reason for anything I do... It is my goal to survive and live in a state which allows me to function within normal society and help innocents who are unable to help themselves.  I wish to provide aid to those who are unable to secure it for themselves, for those to whom no one would provide it willingly, and to destroy or otherwise incapacitate those who would jeopardize that.  In order to do this I need ... to be seen as something which I am not, a normal... fleshling.  I'm sure it is within your ability to hypothesis what would... how people would react upon seeing my true form.  Though I saw only the beginnings of my morphing, I know that I am not like others of my kind... I am something far more... grotesque... monstrous.  The people would run in fear at the very best case scenario, at the worst... I myself would either be captured or killed and the others like me... their treatment would be far more sever.  We would likely see a return to the old days where my kind were killed on sight, baby's strangled, children stoned, and while their current situation is difficult... we are at least allowed to survive... if we are strong enough..."  

*She shakes her head realizing she had been rambling.*

"Look, if I am not to exile myself for the rest of my existence I need that device to function.  Is that not reason enough?"

Poking around areas of the facility we haven't discovered/explored

Use of Persuasion to make her believe what I just said and be inclined to help me. I will explain how she can help me after I get her response. Zeiss was not dishonest at all in his statement. Two uses of Persuasion left for the day.

That's not what is directly written onto the sheet of paper. The sheet is covered of notes that more or less talks about what I just sent in this spoiler tag. All tattoos would be woven directly into Zeiss’s skin.

Repulsion tattoo
The first mode : it allows the user to push away magically anyone who is in a adjacent square 5 feet away and make them go prone.

The second mode : it allows the user to push away magically one enemy who is in an adjacent square and make them go prone. This is a more focused version of the first mode. So if the enemy is of a normal size, the distance he is pushed away is simply greater than at the first mode. If the enemy is so big that the first mode is useless against it, the second mode allows the enemy to be pushed away.

The tattoo will require charges to be used. I'm thinking about three charges. I also want the possibility to use more than one charge at a time.

So if I used the first mode of the Repulsion tattoo with all three charges, it would allow me to push away my enemies on a greater distance and/or enemies who are of a bigger size. And depending on a roll, make them go prone.
Because it is activated mentally, I would like to have it considered a free action or even a partial action.

Blindness tattoo

This tattoo would be placed in the palm of Zeiss’s hand. It would allow him to emit white light that can blind every non-ally that sees it in a radius of fifty meters. The effect would last for 1 minute. It requires charges to be used. Three charges available. It is activated mentally, but Zeiss’s hand must not be covered by a glove or obstructed by anything else. Depending on the situation, I would see it as a free or partial action.

Float tattoo

It allows the user to cast Float on himself or another person. It requires charges to be used. Three charges available. Because it is also activated mentally, I would like to see this as a free action or a partial action.

Haste tattoo

It allows the user to cast Haste on himself or another person. It requires charges to be used. Three charges available. Because it is also activated mentally, I would like to see this as a free action or a partial action.

Mask of understanding

A plain dark mask that covers the whole face, with no space for the eyes, nose or mouth. But when someone wears it, it allows the person to see, breathe and speak normally. It also gives:
• Low-light vision.
• Fairy vision of the elemental energies.
• +5 in diplomacy.

Zeiss was still completely honest. Another use of Persuasion. One use of Persuasion left for the day. The assassination attempt he was talking about was the one Kolson almost fell to. Sareth told Zeiss about it.

Zeiss is on the lookout for any possible ambush. We will search for Oghren too and take him with us.
