Arch ruled that you don't need to take a Fighter feat when you gain a bonus feat as a Fighter. To quote him : "Cause screw that rule".

I don't really see the problem with that rule.

Anyway, there you have it. I guess we will be talking to Bonebreaker about the next big project or mission we can tackle.

No taking 1 level of Fighter for a free feat.  I'm okay with bending the rules, not gaming them completely.

Oh look, I got the Leadership feat now.

So, couple things I'd like to 'trailer' for you guys.  Normally I wouldn't but A: I don't want you thinking too much about what to do when things are already happening the moment you leave the Trials, B: The Trials themselves will take (unknown amount of time), and C: The holiday break. 

So.  Two things that will be happening pretty much as soon as you leave the Trial area, give or take, is Fierneceal and Rekarg will find you at the Light Temple having journeyed there herself.  There will be an announcement.  And you will get a letter from Sareth stating he and Bonebreaker have come up with an idea that needs your expertise on, asking you to head back asap.

I love trailers. And the Elsewhere posts. I love this setting.

But damn, I'm not reassured by these two announcements. -_-

So I talked to Kolson and he said he agreed to do the weaving pattern on my clothes. Can we make it so that it happened in Arwic when we stayed there for the night? If not, that's not a problem. We will only have to find another time to do it. I was asking only for convenience sake.

And... the soldiers of the Directorate we saw in the airship. Arch, you said there were many races among them. Was there any races from Stonehold? Gnolls? Kobolds?

@Zeiss: Yes we can say the pattern was done there.  Arwic is incredibly unlikely to enter the war on any side.  The following races were present on the ship; Elves, Dwarves, Gnomes, Banderlings, Trolls, Orcs, Ogres, Sclavi, Moarsmen, Gnolls, Kobolds, Goblins, Mosswarts, Lugians, Fairies, and various types of Half Elves.

Right, so! We are going to go back to Holtburg, do some stuffy-stuff there, and see if Bonebreaker has any things for us adventuring types to do. That is if we can get around to it after figuring out how we will manage to get our ship back.

Just to make sure, I'm still good for Monday aka tomorrow, assuming everyone else is as well.

Yep. On a side-note, I probably am not going to be able to run anything Tuesday due to traveling back for New Year's Eve. Sorry, but I'll be leaving right after work, so I'm not going to be able to do anything.

It's yay in my case. We don't really celebrate the New Year in my family. But the Trials will take some time and I got to go to Glenden Woods to meet someone.

We can discuss it next session I suppose. We don't even know how much time the Light Trial takes.

Well I'll be here of course.  With Snarg gone I'll probably do his Trial Monday so I can do other Trials Tuesday.  Might be skipping over some of the more flowery roleplaying to make sure people get through them since... well, EVERYone is taking the Trial this time.

Actually, let me rephrase that.

I don't believe in new year. I'll be here. My family, however, does believe in new year, unlike me, who don't, and may require me to join them in some social ritual or another. And being the family person i am, i will require myself to oblige.

In short, dinner, and some midnight-ish downtime. So, if my Trial by Light is supposed to happen tomorrow (which, come to think of it, would be a kinda nice way to get this whole new year crap off my mind), best be after midnight GMT, if that's less trouble than too much.

*wonders if he should mention that the only person he hasn't finalized the Trial for yet is Higaide*

Wait where's this "believe in" thing coming from? It's just a social tradition. It's a party that happens at the end of the year, what's to believe in?

You know what we could do, we could switch Monday and Tuesday. That way I won't have to bother sticking around, I can just be one of the people doing my trial next week. And then, we could have...something. Question, what were we gonna do for Tuesday?
