So I go suggest we go investigate about Bonebreaker and make sure he isn't going to backstab us. Agreed?

If he wanted to backstab us, we'd be dead, Zeiss.
We are alive because of the secret dealings behind the scenes.

There are many ways to backstab people. Doesn't have to involve killing.
My logical reasoning tells me not to assume anything. I just know Bonebreaker lied to us. I want to know why.

I don't think Bonebreaker backstabbed us, but he didn't inform us properly. We should go see Oghren first to see if he knew also. If he did, well, not cool. If he didn't, it just means more ammunition.
We just need to go hash it out with him and convince him to be more open with us in the future. After all, why not? We just risked our lives in this fight. And that would be the perfect time to ask him about that Erin guy again.

I suppose that Erin guy is the one who threatened your family?

Yes, let's go hash it out with Bonebreaker. I want an explanation.

Yes Zeiss. I managed roll successfully on Wisdom to have Rory remember his face and full name, but all I remember is "Erin".

Re: 11-18-13 Post Session
So I managed to calm down (IRL) and started to think about Bonebreaker's scheme.
From what I understand, and correct me if I'm wrong, Bonebreaker made a deal to make sure the recent chaos in the Undermarket would not cause deadly havoc everywhere. If Gretta loses, surrender then help the victorious side (cause from what I read, they retreaded since they were losing), she can keep her position. Some people die, but it's inevitable. NOW, Bonebreaker may have added another clause : if the Exchange loses, it's the other way around.
Rory talked about setting up a duel with Gretta and one of her champion. What happened may have just been that : a duel between armies. And the losing side don't lose all that much. The duel is just there to select the top leaders of the new Undermarket. If all the factions agree to these terms, it's a neat and really smart way to assure that only a few people die while the new Undermarket emerges.
One thing that points at Bonebreaker being on our side : Gretta requested the leaders of the Exchange to meet her in private (you guys didn't bring me in, you should be ashamed, I REQUEST A RETCON). And she talked like we also had something to do with that deal.
Maybe Bonebreaker wanted to test us this way. After all, it didn't look like he was recruiting his own army until I told him we should do so, which would have allowed him to command the Exchange forces while brushing us aside. Well, unless I got some facts wrong, this it what I think happened.
But if he's okay with threatening Rory's family, or is preparing another kind of scheme to backstab us, or both, he's dead.
So let's go see Oghren first, shall we? *grin*

One more thing, i do believe Gretta mentioned the Town-Blocs had been rapidly consolidating as of late, namely some Raiders from Naverre, who had taken up the entire Yaraq state, which is why she was in a hurry to pick a side to join.
If this be true, there are greater threats to the exchange than a possible power struggle with Bonebreaker. And this is now in-character knowledge, so i think it should be taken into consideration as well when confronting him. His negotiation with Gretta might have been successful in no small part due to an urgent state of affairs.

No retcons, Zeiss was playing with butterflies while the real leaders dealt with Gretta.

I think the problem, Zeiss, is that you were caught in that giant explosion along with the rest of us. For what it's worth, feels kinda bad to include you as an unwilling participant in that colossal blunder.

K feels bad about it. Now time to use that guilt! *evil laugh*
And I wasn't seriously asking for a retcon, just to make sure. I almost died and needed some healing, so I understand.

Should just do what happens every time someone's not present - you get kidnapped and the next session is saving you ... again!

Re: 11-18-13 Post Session
So I guess there's been a silent agreement that there's been a change in plans. We're taking a rain check on our visit to Marblebush at the moment, and heading to Holtburg to talk things over with Oghren and Bonebreaker, correct?
Zeiss is going to have to try and find out where Sareth is. Doing a Gather Information check in Irondell might be a good starting point, whether you want to split off from the party now or wait and see if we have time.
From Holtburg, I think we're resuming our previous route, heading to Marblebush, back to Holtburg, and then going to the Fire temple.

Re: 11-18-13 Post Session
So Kolson talked about the missing airship then? Good to know.
Let's rest in Irondell first. We're injured and tired. Especially Zeiss, Kolson and Rekkarg who haven't slept since the day before. After that, I suggest we ask Rekkarg to translate us to Holtburg, if that isn't a problem for him, then investigate the scheme thingy. Talking to Oghren first then Bonebreaker.
As for Marblebush, I'll ask Rekkarg if he can teleport us directly to the airship. Last time we tried, it didn't work. But I realized we didn't give him the airship's name : the Skyclaw. It might lead us directly to it. Before we go, if Kolson wants to stay in Holtburg for Kez's response, or prepare his departure if it has already arrived, he could split up from the party.
Then, when all of this is done, we go to the Garden to acquire the anti-Gaerlan's stuff if it's still there.
EDIT : Maybe it will be better sometimes to just walk than use Rekkarg's ability to translate us. He can only do it once a day after all. We'll see next session I guess.

Re: 11-18-13 Post Session
If you really want to get Sareth, I will mark him as quarry and find him. That should allow me to track him down unless he is using extraordinary abilities to hide. I can't see invisible stuff yet.
I don't think Rekkarg can poof everyone to Holtburg since we're not at a major ley line point right now. We could possibly teleport to the airship, but it'll be difficult. I don't think the actual name of it has much to do with finding it, but he does know more about it than the name and it was still a chance not to make it there. In short: I don't think he'll be able to teleport us until we're in Holtbug and then it'll only be safe to go to the temples or other hub locations. Could chance it, but there's no telling at which facility you'll end up if it goes wrong.
Don't forget that we still need to help Janwell since that place is pretty much destroyed and we're the aid.

Fun fact, I spent a couple hours trying to find a picture (real or drawn/CGI) to get across an idea of what Janwall's like right now. I uh... well nothing I found was destroyed ENOUGH to get across the point. Take from that what you will.

Re: 11-18-13 Post Session
Btw, we need to ask Gretta WHEN Bonebreaker made the deal with her. Pretty sure that'll be highly indicative. Also, we need a casualty estimate for both sides.
I'll find reason to get my character over there and ask this (like, him wanting to know) if no one else will ask.

Hwydp is now Gwydo's new nickname. "Huh-why-dip". That also sounds fine if he wants to ask.
