...Are you kidding me? The Aluvian military, the military, is letting bandits run loose in the countryside to achieve their political goals? Really!?

Guys, we may be impulsive, short-tempered and prone to make mistakes, but no matter what, we're still better than those in charge right now.

We're taking over.

I'm letting them go for practical reasons--speed. I figure it's best to get you guys this information as quickly as possible.

I'll also point out that we already have enough mouths to feed. We need to get more income coming in before we look to expand some more, at least non-skilled labor wise. Hopefully that's sooner rather than later.

On a side note, it feels weird discussing the future of the Exchange when we really don't know if it will still be a thing yet or whether any of us will still be alive after this gamble. I can honestly say, I'm committed to going down with the ship, as a game without the Exchange doesn't interest me. How about you?

I already said this to Kolson, but I'll repeat myself here: no one is going to destroy the Exchange while I live. Screw Bonebreaker and Oghren. They ran away because they believed we couldn't do anything. Well, time to prove them wrong.

One other thing: you see that new avatar? That's the work in progress of an artist I commissioned to draw an avatar of Zeiss. I'm pretty happy with it. It's only missing the colors.

Huh, you're not enjoying the game Rory? I wouldn't blame you considering you haven't been able to hit something yet.

Well, I talked things over with Rory and it was just a misunderstanding. Whoop dee doo.

I was afraid of bringing all the drama into this, but I just had a little chat with Zeiss about it. The Exchange is a rut to me. I just hope that there is a link back to the scions in all of this and whatever that is becomes just as important as what we lost. I want to get back to that build-up and stay on track, and I want my character to do what I built him to do.

If I can leave the Exchange minigame behind after putting all the refugees on boats and migrating them to Osteth, I'll go with them if that's what it takes. I'll keep a magic stony-talkie with me and go off on my own to do what I'm built to do for my people in Osteth if we can contrive a few NC party members or waive the consequences of splitting off and going alone.

After we've solved the problems for Holtburg, that is. And if leaving the minigame behind really does require it.

One of the consequences of allowing the players freedom of action without leading them around by the nose is that some members of the party find certain avenues of action more interesting than other party members.

Well Zeiss, now that Kolson and Javan are back what's the plan of attack? What do you need us to do to get ready for it? Who's in command of what?

I'll write a detailed plan for the assault on the Royal District some time this evening.

Yeah, I see what you mean Rory. A yellow mage would definitely help for that. We'll see what Zeiss has to say when he posts his full plan.
