OOC: Format for The Exchange

So one way or another I'd like to come down from the 'weekly per turn' format, but I'm open to thoughts from both of you on how best you'd like to proceed. Daily? Hourly? Regular? Gimme feedback.

Well, I haven't discussed this with Kolson yet, but I think we should go for a daily format where our actions are represented by hours. The reason is simple: it allows us to micromanage the Exchange as we see fit, while making sure we keep the "Empire management" feeling going. If we go back to regular roleplaying, we basically have no reference for how many actions we can take. Also, this mix of daily and hourly format would avoid the kind of big posts I tend to do. *cough cough* sorry *cough cough*

But I think I can safely say that unless there is a big event we need to roleplay (meeting Fahran of Silentblade for example), we'll just write our actions like if this was a 4X game with NPC management added to it.

For the group leaving for Sho(ha!), the daily format would be optimal as well. We can switch between hourly and daily if needed.

Warning you, I see my style becoming a bit more direct.

If weekly won't work anymore then daily is what I prefer. Most of our actions are measured in that unit of time anyway. If some kind of event warrants it, we can go smaller until the event is over. Otherwise I'd rather keep it a 4x-lite like we've been doing.
