Treasure and Loot

We'll use this thread to determine who gets what treasure and to ensure we have a record of everything we get, and who it goes to.

I want my share of gold. And the hat.

And the way Arch spoke, that hat may be dangerous...

Currently of the treasure we got off Harkun and his guards:
2300 gold

Everything else is buried in the desert to be determined IF we can get it later.

For the gold, here is the breakdown that I propose:
Currently we have 15 active players.
Divided evenly amongst all of us that is 153.3(repeating) each OR
150 each and we can put the remaining 40 into a group pool for emergency use.

Thoughts?

Well 40 doesn't sound like much to start with, but hopefully that will build up in time. We should split all of the loot, rewards, etc. our group acquires like this:

Gold acquired through group efforts gets split. Loot gained during actual splitting of group during efforts counts, just like how we're splitting this 2300 gold.

Gold acquired during personal endeavors(including stealing and other ill-favored methods) is up to the individual to decide, aka for private use.

Actual items gained in group efforts get split among those who need it, like the heavy armor, unless such individuals state otherwise. Anything leftover gets sold, the resulting gold being split among the group and emergency fund.

And of course, there are special cases, like when Zeiss stole money. That was found during a group effort, but Zeiss was choosing a morally questionable effort to gain something, an action not everyone would agree with. He was fortunate that Araiguna was agreeable, and so they split it. That money is for their private use, jointly so if they wish.

its all well and good for use to say split it but are we talking IC or OOC because im fine with the split and my toon is but would zeiss's toon be ok with that split? also may it be better to treat the emergency fund as a 16th player? (when i said 16th play i had to laugh this isnt a party its a raid)

I would almost call what happened between me, Zeiss, and Kolson a personal endeavor. considering we were searching harkun's home for info but stumbled upon a stash of gold that was fairly well hidden. although I'd have to say put my share of the 2300g you guys found into the emergency fund. seeing as I already got 150g from the robbery

Well, do NOT put my share in the emergency pool.

And to permeus : of course my character would be okay with sharing. It's not like he was the first to find it...

I'm cool with everything as long I can get one of those swords.

What I'm thinking is the split just happens OOC, and if you want to do give more of your share to the emergency fund, then you'd say so in chat/OOC. Obviously, if you're trying to give someone else gold, that person can choose to accept or refuse OOC. Anything other than accepting would require some role playing to a degree, but when the recipient accepts, role playing would be optional. Only the people agreeing to an emergency fund would be required to donate, so Zeiss is free to be a greedy bastard.

I figured something along those lines, I just didn't want to hurt my head trying to categorize it beyond "special cases".

And as for your share, doing whatever you want includes putting it towards the emergency fund if you choose.

so gold wise its 150 from the body's + 600 for the guild?

as for the loot from the Gnoll's the leather Armour is interesting to me if i don't get it i need to go shopping for some that's not as good as that one

Ok, from all the loot in general: I am interested in the Iron longsword, and from the Gnoll the facemask or chittick armor. Or, I would accept also the longsword + 1 and no loot from the gnoll.

ied say that the best idea is we make a list of who want what then eather we roll on each item or the GM rolls for us (i dont know if the every one /roll thing will be to messy)

I agree with the GM rolls.

I just essentially need fighter-type weapons and armor. Zeiss gets 50 gold from what I get.

I want the crossbow for Dara, and the facemask because I have no armour proficiency

@Hanuel Ok, I won't bid for the mask, I'll roll for the leather armor and one of the swords.

Just a reminder guys, Harkun's loot is still buried out in the desert. We don't know if it's even still there.

The GM will be merciful, I hope.

Wait, what's this about leather armor? I'll roll for that.

Also, are we just going to go with a 20 sided die and no modifiers?

@Rory I meant the chittick armor or whatever it's spelt. I guess it' just d20.

I will go ahead and claim the battleaxe. If someone else wants it, we'll roll.
