Roads In All Directions: The Cloak

Having finished with the horse and wagon, Gwydo walks back to Fierneceal and gently picks her up, quietly telling her "Ride in the wagon. There is no need for you to walk right now." and sets her in the back of the wagon.

"Oh, er, guess we be leavin'. Bye, Da Warden!" Snarg gives an unsure wave as the image disappears. He turns to the group, "Well, now we gotta be decidin' what we gonna be doin' 'bout sellin' er usin', I'm thinkin'." He scratches his ear a moment. "I'm thinkin' we be usin' it. Ain't got no one who ain't be screwin' us over and I ain't thinkin' it's gonna be gettin' better fer bein' wanted."

Turning to Gwody, Snarg crosses his hands across his chest, "If ya wantin' to be doin' trials at ya life temple, I ain't arguin', but maybe ya want to be thinkin' 'bout it a bit 'fore ya goin' trampin' up there. They gonna be knowin' that ya wantin' to be headin' there. Ya gettin' caught an' ya ain't takin' ya trial anyhow."

Hanuel picks up the dulled stone. "If there's no objections, I'd like to hold on to this. I have some...questions I'd like answered if at all possible."

"Well, yeah. For now. Isn't that thing supposed to be uber-powerful or something? Seriously, you can get money by juggling knives of something."

"If we're travelin', I can be doin' some huntin' fer some eats. Gotta bit o' rations left, but we ain't gonna be lastin' long."

Fierneceal leans into Gwydo for a moment before letting herself be placed in the back of the wagon, immediately curling into the wall.

Fierneceal sniffs and says quietly, so quietly you can barely hear her, "If you stop... I'll buy supplies. I have gold."

"Guys we dont have the food or water to get to there Temple of life!"

"If we're gonna be stoppin', better to be doin' it in town north 'ere where ya ain't gonna be havin' posters 'bout ya all o'er the place."

Hearing no objection, Hanuel turns, and looks into the wagon. "Mind if I join you?" They say in a quiet, but caring voice.

Rory climbs up on one of the horses pulling the wagon. "I want to keep my feet of the ground for a while, too. It's been a long night."

Snarg suddenly stops short and slowly turns to Sethos. "Wait, what he be sayin' 'bout 'nother continent?" He raises his fingers and begins counting: "One ... two ... there ain't bein' but two!" he exclaims.

*Z picks up a groggy Andrei and holstering him on their hip proceeds to follow the others.*

"Well I would like to buy a horse. It would seem to be handy."

Fierneceal glances at Hanuel with red rimmed but dry eyes. "Sure," she whispers, "there's room."

Hanuel turns to Z. "If you'd like, you and Andrei can ride on Dara." Before turning back to the wagon, and climbing in beside Fierneceal. "I know we haven't know each other very long, but if you have anything you'd like to talk about I'm here to listen. I know that having someone to hear you can help..."

"thats a good point Snarg there is only 1 other landmass that we know, well i guess there is a second we dont know about ye interesting?"

Zeiss, riding his horse, is writing in his journal while waiting for the others.

As the cloak disappears Sethos whispers under his breath

"Iongard?" then he reaches out to the vanishing shape "What is Iongard!?" He gives a futile shout, before rubbing his eyes tiredly. He walks back to his spot behind the group and sits down with his legs crossed, lifting up his hood and pulling out his pipe, before lighting his weed and absent mindedly pulling on it, the sound of the ash collecting forming a slow rhythm.

Hanuel and Dara wrote:Hanuel turns to Z. "If you'd like, you and Andrei can ride on Dara." Before turning back to face Fierneceal.

"That ... would be ... much appreciated... Thanks."

Dara walks up beside Z and Andrei, smiling at them both before shifting forms and offering them their back.

Fierneceal gives Hanuel a sad smile. "I'm... no... thank you. I know he's all right. I won't see him anymore, but I know he's all right, and that's more than I could have asked for." Fierneceal turns in on herself once again and her quiet crying begins anew.

"Auburean and Dereth's bein' countin' fer two. Just ain't no one goin' to Auburean, but I ain't hearin' 'bout no Iongard." Snarg grumbles, walking over to Sethos. He stops behind him and taps the Burun on the head. "What ya knowin' 'bout Auburean?" he asks, peering over the top of his head.

Hanuel starts to move a hand to rest it on her should comfortingly, but stops, and sits quietly beside her, not wanting to disturb her.

*Z sits Andrei down, and puts his small pack in theirs, and mounts. Then holsters the boy up in front of them.*

Fierneceal shifts a little and lays her head on Hanuel's shoulder, grateful for their presence and taking comfort where she can.
