Despite not wanting the gnolls dead, Rory can't help but shaking a little under the stress. Sweat drips down his brow. If this went wrong, he knew it would lead to combat, but if they wanted any chance of a peaceful resolution, they were out of options. He gripped his knife with new found anxiety.

A few minutes pass in relative silence. Those of you paying careful attention can tell that the noise coming from below has dropped off, but otherwise there seems to be no immediate reaction. As the nervous moments pass by, Rellan looks around as carefully as he can, seeing if he can spy any additional scouts who might be in the thick underbrush, but finds nothing.

Rory's ears perk up at the sound of Raver's confession, and instinctively glanced around at Zeiss if he was still in sight. He was certain it was inevitably out of their hands now.
