The inn, Maiden's Venture, is fairly empty at the moment. A quick glance confirms neither Harkun nor his guards are here presently. You take a seat while propping Higaide up against one of the booths, and peruse their menu. Apparently they serve only a few dishes here, but include fresh scallops brought in just this morning from the Inner Sea served with a lime sprinkling and with a fish of your choice on the side, or a fruit platter that seems mainly consistent of different ways to prepare dates, including fried, sliced, chilled, whipped, and several others.

Meanwhile, Raver sits on one of the tables, ready to feed on anything that gets on his view as he looks over his scarred hand, hoping that eating something would regain him some strenght.

He sat the sack and looks at his curiously, as he starts wondering about it and Harkun.

The waiter nods. "He is almost always in here at about high noon, rotates with several of his guards who take the early morning and mid day shifts while he is eating here."

The lizard's continued deafness in the ear made Rory red in the face. This boy was being dragged into something he wasn't prepared for, even on his best day. If any harm should come to him, the blame would land squarely on Whis Kor. Saying something to that affect, Rory got in line for something to eat. He picked out a couple steaks, mashed potatoes, three ales and a serving of a vegetable foreign to him that he hoped would at least be palatable--he did not like most vegetables. After finding a seat, he cracked open one of the ales and began to gorge himself on alcohol. Finally.

It seemed like Harkun was running away. Zeiss wondered if he should care. He was going to get paid after all. But he didn't want to wait with the others and pretend that he didn't know anything. So he returned to the inn. Nonchalently, he told the others :

"Hey, I heard people in town say that three hours ago, Harkun was going to the southeast. And he was in a hurry it seems. He may be escaping."

He sits down on a chair.

"You want to catch him?"

Yzen frowned, thinking. "Uhmm I think technically our jurisdiction goes until we hit another township's borders so, quite a ways."
