Treasure and Loot

Most larger groups I've been in, seen, and run who have multiple people desiring the same loot do lots. In this case it'd be quite simple; I'd roll a flat d20, no mods, for every person in the group and the person with the highest number gets their pick of one item, then the next, and so on until either there's still loot left to distribute (in which case it loops back to the first person) or the loot is all distributed.

If anyone has any other ideas of course I'm all ears.

I can't really see Kezrin needing any of this stuff more than the others. The tattoo sounds fun, but she is putting her pts. into aracan knowledge and so doesn't need the spellcraft. The belt would also be useful for meh.

i put my name down for 4 of the gems (1 each of Aquamarine, Black Pearl, Pearl, Alexandrite) i think i put need for the tattoo (that spellcraft will be useful with all the checks i do) with the plan that if i get it ill be giving the leather i have to someone that needs it (I.E. low hp, high dex and nearly dies a lot ) i think i put want on the key and Red Materia too.

I think I may have forgotten to mark the tower shield as "Want" (though I don't think anyone else here can use it....)

Also, might I recommend we sell the gems and put the profit into the group fund or split the resultant gold like we do with the regular gold? Unless you have a specific need for it.

I agree with selling the gems, unless someone thinks we might have any use for them, or might come across some place that will give us more money for them than in Al-Erat.

Also, i think i marked the sturdy steel key down as "want", that was just so it won't end up sold by accident in case no one else takes it.

well the gems may fetch more in a big city and im hopeing that we get to go to one soon im going to say so to the team IC at some point.

also there is something important about them it is odd that's there is 8x8 (if it was any other GM ied say it didnt matter, but this is Archengeia talking about ) of them for a start, if this was the 40k setting ied be calling shenanigans and looking for deamons right about now, my guy didnt see how they were layed out in the chest so he cant say if that's important too?

I'm still I little unsure about selling the gems myself but its one of them things we won't know about until its too late, or it may be nothing.

Yeh, I agree with Tabran, I would keep the gems for now.

Same here. Arch said that materials reduce the difficulty in crafting so us Weavers may be able to do some pretty cool stuff with those.

So I'll make a new Group Wealth page on my character sheet. We can keep the stuff in the wagon for now.

So we're NOT selling the gems. I'll remove their value from the group gold pool.
So resale value on the swords, armor and the steel tower shield.

If you choose to sell all these items in Al-Ferin you will get:
300g per Iron sword
1000g per suit of Iron armor
800g for the Steel shield
Total: 8000g
