They needed fire arrows. They found ten of these in the market. And ten flasks of oil. For a total of 1200 gold pieces. Snarg and Araiguna divided the arrows between themselves. Kolson kept the flasks, at least until the mine.

It was time to go.

After much debate and discussion the party decides to head eastwards out of the city in the direction of the abandoned mine. The sun is just past high noon by the time you arrive, after a relatively short but sweltering trip through a cloudless desert day.
The mine itself is built into a rocky hillside crag that spans a decent chunk of the area, north to south. The mine has clearly been heavily restructured, as the entrance has marble and iron trappings forming a very large door, easily 30' tall, which is currently open. There are no noticeable sounds coming from within.

Snarg & Araiguna:
Both of you are aware of several sets of tracks, barely visible in the wind-blasted crag. Near as you can tell it is at least 5 individuals, one of which was clearly a Lugian, and one which was clearly a Moarsman. You cannot make out the rest.

Gwydo charges in, roaring a brilliant battle cry, only to find a fairly large and empty room. There are three doors leading out of it; one north, one east, and one south. The north one is glowing, the east one is shut, and the south one is currently open. He calls back, "The room looks empty guys!"

The North door has been magically sealed, and quite powerfully so. It's hard to even get a read on what might lie beyond.

The East door is currently locked and trapped.

The South open door leads towards a long hallway which turns a bend, beyond which you obviously cannot see, peering through the door. There are long, thin bins of water along this hallway which are glowing, providing all the light for the hallway.

Snarg snorts as he examines the floor, blowing up a bit of dust. "I ain't seein' 'em movin' past here." he stands back up and looks around the ceiling, walls, and floor where the tracks stop.

*kezrin walks into the room holding her head, still clearly nursing her hang over, she can be heard muttering to herself occasionally, you aren't certain what she's saying but it sounds like she's reciting a book of some kind. She walks over to the north door and examines it without touching it.*

Mages Examining The North Door:
It's clear the door itself is actually solidified magic. It has been reinforced a bare minimum of 50 times, with enough magical potency to resist something of intense magical strength like, say, a Golem. It is tied to a specific individual's soul and as such cannot by any normal means be undone except by overpowering it or having that soul present.

Zeiss:
As you are fiddling with the wire on the trap it suddenly snaps shut and the door begins glowing hot. Zeiss instinctively leaps backwards, barely dodging an abrupt column of flame that erupts where he was standing previously. After about 10 solid seconds of flame it dies down and you hear an audible 'click' of the trap resetting.

*turning at the yelp from Zeiss she sees a tall column of flame, she stands mesmerized like the rest of the group watching it until it dies down. She then turns to the rest of the group*

"*ahem* I do not believe we shall be traveling through that door, and this one is not only sealed it is made of solid magic and is tied to a person's soul. It is extremely strong and I do not believe anyone in our group has enough brute strength to open it. I vote we do not waste our energies and go through the south door."

Sethos coughs and splutters as he drops his pipe, his hands now on his knees and his eyes red, he looks up with an audible weakness in his voice.
"Nobody touch this door" He coughs again "It's a bad door" Then Zeiss' trap goes off as Sethos is reaching down for his pipe, he looks up at the sound and falls back at the shock of the flames, he stares at them until they die and then packs his pipe.
