Sixth Adventure 01: To Holtburg

*Z sits back and listens.*

"How many times ya thinkin' we're gonne be havin' to be usin' it? Assumin' we ain't goin' in an' out of the city er nothin'."

"And what is the average cost that you usually ask for one visa?"

"Oh once to get in for sure. Past that..." He frowns a bit. "Well normally it's only a big deal if yer crossin' borders, but lately anytime yer enterin' a big city or leavin' one you gotta present. Lotta people spooked. So you might be a bit stuck there." He pauses. "There's ways to get 'real' fake Visas, ones actually soul-tied, but those folk ain't been doin' so well lately."

"Depends on how wanted ya bein'," the Orc says simply, and you notice for the first time a few of his friends are eyeballing you now, waiting for your response.

*Z speaks up for the first time.*

"Wanted enough to not want to be recognized. Same as you when on shore."

The Orc gave a light laugh, and you caught the sudden impression of kinship, like you were bandits like them. "A'right, fair enough. We don't charge much for the fakers, unreliable sods, Tem over here can make 'em for ya, he charges his own mind."

Tem walks up, someone you barely spotted before, a wide-eyed looking Gnome with a massive mop of hair dangling past his waist and large spectacles as he looks up at you, grinning brightly. "My, such a diverse group too, this one will be fun! I love coming up with names too, ah this'll be a joy. Nothing special then, just 10 gold each please, and I shall, as I believe my comrades would say, hook you up!" He grins.

"This is a good price. Just because I am curious, what would be the cost of a better visa?"

"Oh who knows, always varies based on the market, how detailed you want 'em, what country you want 'em for, that sorta thing. Gotta go past the Undermarket for that sorta thing, y'know?" He is already taking notes on a small notepad.

*Z reaches out a hand to the gnome.*

"Have fun, just nothing that stands out too much for me please?"

*They grin at the last.*

"I try not to make to much of a lasting impression."

"I can't wait to hear my new name." Hanuel jokes casually.

"would you be able to give us a contact in the undermarket someone we can trust?"

"Okay then."

He asks Gwydo to give the gnome the gold required.

"Speakin' o' Undermarket, I'm hearin' its bein' in a bit o' trouble recent since war breakin' out?" Snarg asks Tem.

"I didn't think you could trust anyone in the Undermarket?" the Gnome quips as he collects your gold, laughing at his little joke. "But no I can't help you there, bad business helping others in, gotta earn yer way." He frowns a bit at the Gnoll's question. "Yeh, can't be sayin' much there either. Let's just say it wouldn't be hard to put the pieces together if you were thinkin about it!"

Snarg sighs. "'course, just wantin' to be knowin' yer take."

Zeiss looks at the Gnome taking their gold.

"While I appreciate you treating with us, I would like to stay in contact with one of your representatives. So that we can do more business one day if need be."

He smiles a little.

"Oh I dunno, I have fun with the Blackbrine. But if you want to keep a contact with the Blackbrine as a whole, that I'm with," he grins.

"Happy to hear that. Should we wait to be on the ship to talk about it?"

After several minutes of fiddling and Weaving, the Gnome returns, a bright face on his eyes. "Alright, all done, gather 'round gather 'round do enjoy. Remember, first stop's guaranteed, after that yer own yer own, but I do hope they go well for you!"
