February 13th: Bonebreaker and Jailbreak

"humm what about crafters veil?"

Ashakel:
You slide the small, unassuming key into the Reliquary, a small thing that can easily fit into your hands. It pops open and, immediately near you six items clatter to the ground before the Reliquary snaps shut again. You see a spear of some sort, a Focusing orb, a robe, a necklace, a metal helmet, a Mana Stone, and a small pearl.

"Mm. I used to like the idea of shadow rulers myself." Hanuel stands, and takes a glass of the brew, sipping at it gingerly.

"Gather round, for treasures are abound!" Yelled Ashakel

"I don't see why the Undermarket needs a new name..."

He looks at Sethos who is completely drunk, and frowns at it.

"But I think that if our little group had to be on top of it, we should call ourselves by a misleading name. Like the Triumvirate."

Ashakel's use of some chest he never saw catches his attention.

"What is that...?"

Snarg snaps up. "'Shadow Rulers'?!? I'm surprised to hear something like that coming from you. That's just ... insidious." He walks over to the objects that Ashakel is examining. "Looks like you got something out of it then. If you're going to be starting a new way here in Holtburg, perhaps it'd be good for you to take some of this to help yourself."

"It's something I received for doing a favour. It's pretty nice, it seems, heh!" Ashakel took the spear, trying to inspect it.

The troll looked at Snarg. "Oh, no, I'm not intending to settle here. I'm just wanting to learn to...read...and write.. you see? I'm not leaving you or something."

"Can somebody who with fully functioning limbs please hand me that rather lovely looking pearl? Please? Thankyou". He slurs in an unnecessarily loud tone, his left arm waving helplessly in the direction of the pearl.

Snarg grabs the pearl and pump fakes it several times to Sethos before finally handing it to him.

"You'll need something to pay for training at least, Ashakel."

"can we not take anything till we know what they are?"

"You told us what this was, Tabran. Are you saying you're not sure this is actually a reliquary?"

"Oh calm down Tab" Sethos replies to Tabran, waving at him dismissively "What's the worst that could happen?" He snickers before holding the pearl next to his eye and staring at it intently like a toddler with it's face pressed against the glass at the lion enclosure.

To Snarg. "Well I might take a thing because I'm rather low on gold, but I'll gladly share the rest!"

"hay after all we have been though and had done across us i think taking it slow and been careful is a good thing thats all, once we know that non of the items are cursed then we can decide on the loot?"

"Well, unless any of them have any elemental properties, I'm not sure exactly what they'd do. Except for maybe that," Snarg points at the spear, "you stab people with that. I'm one-hundred percent positive about that."

Snarg:
The Robe appears to have Elemental energy of all 8 types within it, rotating somehow. The others do not appear to be particularly Elemental.

Snarg scratches his ear thoughtfully as he looks over the items. "Well, I can tell you that robe looks like it's got all eight of the elemental energies in it moving around like crazy. Don't see anything like that in the others. Someone more arcane-wise might want to take a look at those."

"I don't know if we have anyone who's very good at appraising these kinds of things. What about you Kolson?"

Sipping on his glass of Glowbrew, Gwydo speaks up. "We'll have to swing by the bank and pick up the rest of our stuff, the group money, and the wagon before we leave town. I'll head over as soon as they open in the morning. If you'd like, I can stop by the prison on my way back and ask about your stuff Zeiss."

"I would appreciate that Gwydo... My equipment is worth a few thousands gold."

Still half-asleep, Zeiss says to the others while pointing to the items from the chest :

"I can appraise these when I feel more awake..."

"Maybe you all should get some rest? We don't really have accommodations here unless you count 'the floor', but I imagine you'd be safe enough to head back to whatever Inns you were staying at." Bonebreaker himself yawns, and begins locking up parts of his desk.

"That sounds like a good idea. All this stress is exhausting."

"T'was a hell of a day." Ahsakel follows the group to the inn.

Bonebreaker's suggestion appealed to Zeiss.

"...Yeah, I would need a little help to get back at the inn..."
