February 18th:

The tumultuous magical outpour is insane, and at a certain point Hanuel almost has to brace themselves on Snarg in order to avoid being shoved off like a leaf in a hurricane. Snarg himself manages, barely, to hook the fixed portion of the pipe with his grappling hook and latch it, then holds Hanuel up near the fissure with all his might.

Hanuel wastes no time in getting to work, but is having severe issues concentrating due to the onslaught assaulting them full in the front of their entire body. You literally see their wings flapping straight behind wildly, legs gone limp and unable to support themselves and flailing behind.

"Gwydo! Go support Hanuel!"

*Z fights and pushes her way toward where the others went.*

"Is he dead?"

Gwydo, who has already been moving up behind Snarg, braces himself with one long arm around the pipe and helps support half of Hanuel's weight with his other arm. "We can do this together!!!" He has to shout at this proximity, as the roar is almost deafening. "Just don't let go!!"

Hanuel is trying and failing to concentrate, but feels bolstered.

"Dead? I don't know. But are you sure you want to approach him?"

He looks at Z with a worried look. He does not know what she might do. But Gwydo and Hanuel needed help. So he hurries to their side.

Failing to approach the pipe, Zeiss flies like a leaf in the wind towards the group and knock over Calbot. He groans.

"Ashakel... you should go help them. You are heavier than I..."

He groans again.

The Pyreal pipe slowly begins to reform itself back into its original position as, bolstered by their two comrades, and Dara who occasionally makes it up to Hanuel before being blown back into the wall repeatedly, concentrates as hard as they can. When the last seal is finally set, all of the pressure goes away abruptly and without warning, which results in Gwydo and Snarg slamming Hanuel into the pipe so hard they actually pass out, and both completely lose their balance and collapse to the ground.

*Z gives a snicker that is blown away by the magical energies.*

"Not planning on getting close to him. Your stealthy you go look. How Snarg described him sounds like he is."

"Ooooohhhh," Snarg groans, "that'll hurt in the morning. Not as much as you though, buddy." He grabs Hanuel and props him up against the pipe. "We good now I guess? No explosion? You find out anything about that Elf over there?"

To Z's suggestion, Zeiss gives her a bland look. Then turns his attention to where the elf is.

"...I guess I should go."

He sighs, then looks at the group that fixed the pipe. They seemed alright. So he decides to walk to the elf, stealthily.

"Just cover me."

He joins Sethos.

With the pipe sealed you all realize you'd been yelling for some time now without really meaning to as the white noise has been gradually increasing your entire trip through the ship, which is now silent.

Sethos, now capable of reaching the Elf, confirms he is quite dead and also clearly has remnants of some kind of magical curse on him that, with a second's glance, he can confirm is the same curse that was on Araiguna. He died only a few days ago.

"Curse?" Snarg furrows his brow as he looks at the Elf and then to Araigna. "Can you remove it or is it already gone? Seems like we, uh, might want to try to do that fast if so."

Zeiss examines the body, looking for anything that might tell him who he was.

The Elf looks like he was an Adventurer of sorts given his gear. He has a Silver Dagger, a magical Ring, a magical Necklace, his clothing was enchanted but it appears to have been broken, his Boots are magical, and he is carrying 2000 gold.

You find no other identifying marks or features whatsoever.

Sethos tries to cast Esuna 4 on Araiguna, but it has no effect.

*Z had moved closer to the body upon mention of it being dead. She examines the gear*

"Who was this? Some member of the Order? Some solo adventurer?" Snarg bends down, checking the face and other areas of the Elf.

Without any regard to the elf's body, Zeiss takes his belongings. He starts by the dagger, then the gold. Unemotionally, he takes the necklace, the ring and then the boots, leaving the body barefooted.

"We will share this later. Now is not the time."

"Tsk... I just wanted to look at it."

*She stalks around the room.*

"Anything to make of this Fierniceal?"

Z:
You have absolutely no idea what these items are.

Snarg:
Aside from the gear indicating he might be an Adventurer of some sort, he has no markings, identifications, or anything whatsoever on him except a faint not-quite magical aura you recognize.

Zeiss goes examine the engine to find out how different it is from the "normal" ones.

"I've got no idea who this guy is. Only thing I can see is that weird energy we've been seeing around him. Maybe someone up top will remember seeing him." Taking a canvas out of his pack, Snarg begins preparing him for movement.

Fierneceal has been roaming the room, examining the Pyreal plates on tables and walls which, if past has indication, are giving her information mentally. As Z asks her a question she nods, almost absent-mindedly. "Yes uhm... it's powered by something called Leycite, looks like..." she frowns, "Uhm, nine of them. Power is at 98%, regulation controls are steady," she continues rambling off the readings from the blank wall for a bit.

"Leycite...."

*She grins*

"Leycite!? So that's the source of the power... I can only fathom how much that airship is worth."

He tries to find these nine focus points.
