February 18th:

Snarg looks genuinely confused. "Nine? There's nine powering this thing? Is that a lot compared to most airships?"

"Airships are powered by Magicite Snarg. As for the Leycite... I know nothing about its potential power."

"Let's not spend more time than we have to learning everything about this ship," Rory ranted. "We need to find out how to fix Araiguna, and unless using Leycite will somehow fix him, we're wasting our time."

"And what's the big deal about the dead Elf?" he continued, aiming his rant at the Gnoll. "I don't know if I'd go so far as to give him a proper send off, but right now we have more important things at hand."

*Z turns to Rory.*

"Why don't you go punch some walls topside and blow off some steam."

*it is clearly meant to be a statement not a question.*

Zeiss goes back to the elf's body to find out how he died.

"Oh. If no airships are powered by Leycite, I don't think it's a good idea to mess around with this one if we don't know a lot about it. Sounds like a good way to get yourself killed." Snarg shakes his head and continues preparing the Elf.

He turned to her, full frontal, raising his brow. "I don't need to blow off anything," he replies. An implication worms its way into the undertones.

"Well then go blow UP something, just stop blowing your horn down here like a kettle blowing out steam."

Rory's eyes begin to squint with realization. "It's apparently wasted on everyone down here." He turns and walks over to Fierneceal.

"I don't suppose these machines have a better way to send messages?" he asks. "I don't see any birds down here...and no mailboxes for that matter."

Zeiss:
The body has no physical deformations whatsoever, no bruising, no broken bones, nothing. But given experience you can ask Sethos or someone else knowledgeable in magical arts to possibly discern it.

Fierneceal frowns. "Not from here, no, we'd have to, uhm... find the bridge. But I've seen this kind of technology before, so I think we can."

"So we have a plan, then," Rory replied, letting slip a subtle glance in Z's direction, feeling a little triumphant. "Any ideas as to where the bridge is?" he asks, blissfully unaware of what a "bridge" in this context looks like.

"Sethos, Fierneceal, before we go find that bridge, can you come here examine the body to find out how he died? It might help us with Araiguna's... curse."

*Z rolls her eyes at Rory.*

"Yes yes. You are sssooooo cleaver. You thought of something we hadn't got to yet."

"Here, look at him quick and then I'm going to take him with us." Snarg has the body half-wrapped in a canvas.

Fierneceal pauses in her examination of the engineering panels and Sethos wabbles over with her. They examine the body for a long time, frowning.

Fierneceal says, slowly, "This... person had a powerful Psionic curse on him before he died. Similar to Araiguna's, but... much stronger. Even now, it reverberates stronger than his does."

Sethos is also frowning. "He died from the backlash." He taps his walking stick on one of the pipes. "Bet you money he smashed it as a Tusker, but being point blank killed him. He's literally awash in magical energy, will be uh... well probably forever. Calling this a 'lethal dose' would be a joke, this guy's corpse is swimming in enough magic to put Magicite to shame."

"Poor guy, wasn't even his fault either." Finishing up the wrappings, Snarg hoists the corpse up on his shoulder. "Maybe we should get going. I don't want to have to pop Araiguna if it gets too late and we haven't found a cure."

"Wait wait wait... a psionic curse?"

He looks at Fierneceal.

"Didn't you say the only ones who have psionic power are your people and that most of them are dead? Since this eldf died recently, it means there is another person with your kind of power who is still alive..."

He thinks for a moment.

"Snarg is right, we should go. To the bridge preferably. Maybe we could find sensors there to detect any other form of life on this airship..."

Given the design of the Airship is so alien to you, no. However...

Fierneceal walks up to a panel and touches it, frowning at it for a moment. "This way," she directs, and heads down a hallway.

*Z follows Fiernceal*

Zeiss walks to Fierneceal's side and observes his surroundings to find any kind of traps.

"Alright then." Snarg re-adjusts the canvas and followers Fiernaceal.

Rory pauses in awkward hesitation. As his cheeks begin to turn, He opens his mouth to say something, but decides against it. As he turns away, his head is slightly bowed and his shoulders a little hunched.

Rory delays himself to get some distance between him and Z before following.

Fierneceal takes you to a small, enclosed room with only the one entrance and exit that you just entered through. It barely has enough room for all of you to fit in, especially with Sethos, but when you all crowd in she closes her eyes and concentrates for a moment, and suddenly it feels like the entire room is moving upwards.

Startled by being in a room that is clearly moving, Zeiss looks at the room with uncertainty.

"I take it that this is some sort of elevator?"

Even after saying that, he is still clearly worried.

"Oh boy." Snarg mutters, squeezing in closer to the center of the room as it rises.
