February 18th:

Ashakel flexes to emphasize the point. Gwydo, meanwhile, already has Fierneceal over his shoulder and has her comfortably positioned.

Rory bit his lip in silent hesitation and protest. "Fine," he growled mildly. "I'll carry the deadweight."

He took the canvas from Snarg and roughly slung the deadweight across his back.

Snarg stares blankly at Rory a moment before answering softly and sadly. "...please... have more respect for the innocent dead or at least humor me in mine." He follows the party away, visibly exhausted.

Rory drops the attitude. "I do, Gnoll. I do. But I put the living first. The dead have all the time in the world."

Zeiss tries to ignore the discussion of ethics between Rory and Snarg.

"Let's just leave."

Nonresponsive, Snarg drags himself after the group towards the elevator.

Snarg:
You wearily try to think the concept of an exit to the ship into the lift and it briskly takes off. There is a pause and you get the impression of a, "Confirmation?" request.

Inside the elevator, Rory began looking about, his eyes darting up at where they were coming from and down at where they were going. He stares down at what he perceived to be their destination, suddenly feeling antsy.

Snarg half-nods at the side of the elevator, eyelids drooping.

The lift takes mere seconds to zoom to its destination. You are let out into a fairly large looking area, something that looks like a loading and unloading station, and conveniently the bay door at the end of the room is open, with the ramp leading to the outside already out and ready to go. There are a large number of the death piles in here, and large oddly shaped drums that you assume were, at one point in time, supplies.

Surprised that they got to another exit so easily, Zeiss takes a look around. While on their way out, Zeiss looks quickly for anything of value, with no particular expectations.

"Our stop." Snarg begins walking towards the exit ramp, carefully avoiding any piles and weird equipment.

Rory begins digging for anything of value among the corpses, and in the drums. "Wonder what these bastards got hidden away," he mumbles fiercely.

Rory:
The bins were apparently filled with perishables and other such things. Several centuries of decay have left nothing but a very unpleasant dust and ash residue.

"Damn. How long has this ship been here? Where have you been searching exactly, Mite?" Rory asked, with a rebellious, yet ill-favored look in his eye.

Gwydo looks at Araiguna, who he is still carrying, to see if he responds at all.

A couple of moments pass and Araiguna starts to flutter his eyes open
"ughh... What happened? I feel like I was crushed by a horse" He pauses "Actually, nevermind. Forget I asked." His body still limp over Gwido's shoulder he turns his head to Fierneceal (unable to realize that she is unconscious due to still being groggy) and asks "so does Snarg now have the ability to understand Scionic permanently? I have a fairly good, natural aptitude for learning languages I may be an interesting test subject in the matter."

"It isn't all it's cracked up to be," Snarg moans, rubbing his forehead.

The exit leads out to, unsurprisingly, the base floor of the hanger. You are on the far side of where the exit was to the surface, but there are service platforms hovering nearby that look like they might work. Or, of course, endless stairs.

"Let's ... not take the stairs." Snarg heads towards the nearest platform and clambers on.

The platform is large enough to fit all of you comfortably and takes you up and up and up and up towards the top of the hanger bay, where the maze of catwalks rest, allowing you to wind your way back to the exit. The doors are, thankfully, still open after Fierneceal opened them.

Zeiss sighs after seeing the exit. Without losing any time, he goes towards it.

"We have to return to Holtburg. Unless one of you has something else to do before we go?"

"Bed after I take care of the body. I'm going to see if there's a mortuary we can use for now."

There is a cemetery nearby but no morgue or other similar facility in this particular town.

"We should warn the people in town not to approach the ruins. They might turn into Tuskers themselves. And..."

He looks at his companions.

"Do not tell them about the airship."
