Can I find someone (group or local) to imbue my armour with damage reduction?
As it stands it would appear that only Critical Hits can get through my current armour, so when I DO get hit, it HURTS. A LOT.

If you want to reduce critical hits, there is an enchant called "fortification" that has anywhere from a 25%-100% chance to reduce critical hits down to normal damage (depending on the enchant strength).

at the very lest one of use may be able to do it for you?

we may not be able to do DR but we can most likely up the AC a bit or both me and Kez know the protect spell and kez has it at level 3 im sure we could have it so that it casts if you would be hit by an attack?

Yeah, the reducing Critical damage is probably better than a standard damage reduction. Definitely worth looking into. (Especially if the four of you combine the weaving.)

I don't think boosting AC is going to do a whole lot at this point. He's already at 30+, which is more than enough at this level to avoid being hit by nearly any mundane weapon except a crit (which always hits). Gwydo is literally a walking plate of metal right now.

I'd imagine you could pull off at least the 25% chance to reduce damage, since that's a +1 enchant equivalent. I'm betting that the 75% is a little out of normal range since that's a +3. The 100% is probably right out since it's a +5 equivilant.

well Arch said the other night that the more we weave together the stronger the items we will be able to make, but at the moment say me and kolson have only just started crafting together (1 item so far) so its actually harder to craft but as we get used to how we all craft we will be able to make some truly god like items

OK I propose that we make a weaveing council, I know its nice to make little items for yourself but I'm thinking long term here, so here is what I'm thinking

We never weave solo, we always weave with at lest two others, this helps with the weaving and strengths the bond we have.

Anyone can put an item forward for consideration, then the council decides what is the next item to be made is.

At the min items I'm thinking of are a dark vision something for ziess, a DR armour item for gwydo, and a item that gives a plus to the amount healed by white spells for one of the white mage's.

If you would like an item to be considered leave a message saying what it is and if you have the mats (sorry wow term, in this case it means the item you want woven like a belt or ring)

Theoretically yes, at the levels the Dericost practice Weaving.
