Ah, Madoka Magica. The first and only series I've ever seen deconstruct and reconstruct the magical girl. And in 12 episodes no less.

Never seen it (Madoka Magica). Like I was saying on Vetrillo, my top Anime genera are the Ghost in the Shell and Macross.

Right now I am listening to "Ghost in the Shell: Innocence - The Ballade of Puppets"

This is not for everyone and I will be the first to admit that. I know some Japanese but not enough to know what the lyrics are. But I seem to be drawn to Anime Music, and on that note, I have to Say my favorite artist is Yoko Kanno http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yoko_Kanno

The lyrics are Kagirohi wa Yomi ni Mata Muto - the song's title. Actually, there's more, but i want to sound smart.

Was just going through my library at work and came across this old guy. I still get a bit of an adrenaline rush when I hear this music. Dune 2 was such a great old game.

I did watch SF Debris' full review(cuz like I'm gonna watch that, it's not for me), and I'm quite impressed. I thought I knew Madoka Magica. F*** me, right?

Because I don't own a playstation, recently I decided to watch a full Beyond:Two Souls playthrough w/o commentary. It has those same button prompts that Heavy Rain has, and be warned, they make use of the motion controls. This ending made me want to play the sequel that is in no way a bush beaten around. I just loved the credits track, so I'm gonna put that here. I command you to love it. LOVE IT!

http://www.yourepeat.com/watch/?v=kXFHZ7cOV08&start_at=2485&end_at=2667

I chose Yourepeat because the other videos I found just weren't loud enough, y'know. I also didn't want to force you to manually put the time at 41:25. If you don't want the game spoiled for you, don't look at the track listing in the video description(conveniently covered by "show more"). Now, the track in question starts with a little soft, sweet build-up right before it gets good. I start it at the good part, and you can feel it the "good", like the rumble of a car engine after turning the ignition on. Now it's not a high energy track, so basically the car's just sitting there rumbling like it was made in the 90's, but that rumble is so damn classy that it has you ready to take the wheel and go for a spin out on the highway.

So about my thoughts on Two Souls: I then saw this review. A review I very much agreed with. Enough to edit an old post to ensure than no one else who happens to stumble upon it would be misled by my misplaced enthusiasm.

Here's a little funny something I've been having listening to on loop. Remixed from a Grumpthrough video, the guy took the vocal audio of a few lines from the Grumps and mixed them around. The melody, beat, and anything musical was added by the remixer. Do not take this seriously, just have fun with it.

Here's a track from the game I was just yakking about. It plays during the opening menu selection, and I've been listening to it on loop. It captures the sense of accomplishment felt after a life lived mired in the violence of the Wild West, and coming out alive and richer for all the experiences.

Also, the track name is incorrect, the title is "Silas Greaves".

If anyone is interested, a 10 hour long playlist of Manowar. Pretty much their entire discography from 1984 through 2012 (in order).

Here's more Call of Juarez: Gunslinger music. This track's from a trailer. Someone managed to remove the sound FX and stuff other than the song and uploaded it to youtube. So here ya go. Gwydo, since you like shanties so much, maybe this'll strike your fancy.

You've heard a lot of stories about the terrible legends of the Wild West: Billy the Kid, the Dalton Brothers, and Jesse James. Well here's a song about a gunslinger who those bad boys have heard of. This is the story of Silas Greaves.

While progressing through the story of Tactics Ogre, this is the theme I've most enjoyed listening to whenever I encounter it in fights.

Is poor quality NES/PSX(take your pick):

It was perfect for the fight it first appeared in, and now I'm just waiting for another encounter with that type of enemy with this song playing again.

Hmm, I like the tempo of this piece, but not the instruments used. I would likely prefer a remix with some strings and wind instruments. Just my thing though. Here's one piece I love to listen to :

Dead Angle:

It's from a visual novel called Umineko no Naku Koro Ni (When the seagulls cry) written by a Japanese writer nicknamed Ryukishi07. The story revolves around a group of eighteen people on a secluded island where they all die over a period of two days. What makes this visual novel different than any other mystery novel is its heavy use of meta and the presence of certain characters who are an incarnation of literary tropes, memories and/or other unseen characters. And let's not forget the heavy use of Unreliable Narrator. Seems complicated? Maybe, unless you know the rules upon which the story is built.

Here's the "combat" theme song if one of you liked the first piece :

There is some strings, but the game's soundtrack mainly makes use of brass instruments. It's not the quality or version I'm hearing on the Vita, but there you go.

Found a better quality upload. This actually sounds exactly like what I've heard while playing the Vita. This sound anything more like what you dig? It also includes the fancy intro before the actual fight.

Aww dammit. Sorry, that's actually a completely different track. My bad. Glad you like it though.

This is the real thingy. Final answer. I just want it up here to be correct and because I love the brass because epic. Also "Hanya" is wrong.

I meant to answer to your post Rory, but I forgot. So yes, I think this version is much better. I would have to listen to it multiple times to see if I really like it or not. That's how I am with music.

And just because I don't want you guys to forget about it, here it is :

Comin' atcha with more moozic. This track is from one of the greatest moments of the latest episode of The Wolf Among Us, and currently my favorite. It really captures Bigby's personae in far superiority to the other track I've posted from the same game. Hence the title, I guess, and I wouldn't be surprised if the title MikonReborn chose for the upload was spot-on. Were it not played when it was during the game, it would have made me...emotional, like it does when I listen to it by itself. It's just--just listen. Beware of spoilers in the comments, AKA just listen to it embedded here.

Recently went back to the Saints Row 4 music and loving the dubstep. Enjoy a sample:

So there aren't any real lyrics in this track. Part of it plays during the opening "mission" of the game. I think Arch can already accurately guess the personality and quirks of our socially-anti, government-anti, selfish and anarchistic world leader, Barack Obama, without any "theme" to go on.

But would you say this track highlights about our protagonist, the Boss of the Saints?
