Re: Music depot
Here's an awesome link to a website where an amateur is hosting his awesome remix of Majora's Mask awesome soundtrack. It is very, VERY well made. Go listen to the "Majora's Wrath" track for some really creepy music.

Yesterday I started listening to "Dance of the Holyman" on repeat.
Also, what's with the fireworks at the end??

Re: Music depot
Link must save the world of Termina from being destroyed by the moon, which will crash on the planet in three days. He can go back in time to accomplish this. The third day is when people "celebrate" the festival and the fireworks are launched. But at this point, pretty much everyone is fleeing for their lives seeing how close the moon is.
That's also the day you can face Majora, at the top of the clocktower.

Never saw the movie myself, but this is just beautiful. In making this cover, Dan and Brian show us they have a heart for genuine serious tone as well as the over-the-top silly comedy.

Re: Music depot
OMG, The Last Unicorn... I've watched it. I'm not so sure if I'd want any kids to watch it tho, I remember watching this in VHS and... blocking it all. Even tho I watched other stuff and remember some minute details from things like Voltron and Tetsujin 28. Mah mind couldn't take the sadness that is TLU.
Edit: To collaborate with my story, I'd like to point out the fact that years ago, I was trying to remember about Tetsujin 28, but couldn't remember the name. I found it by searching the net using the lyrics of the japanese opening that I somehow was able to keep intact for years, even tho it was only years later that I started to learn japanese, and a decade more to try to remember it.

@Rory Yeah, props to Brian and Danny, that was beautiful. You know, the more I learn about Danny and what he's about the more I like him. I can't say that about a lot of people that make stuff I like.
@Essoje I've never heard of Tetsujin 28 but that theme song was pretty boss. Thanks for posting it. Was that one of your favorite shows when you were a kid?

Re: Music depot
My answer is both yes and no. Yes, Tetsujin 28 was among my favorite series during my childhood, but it was hardly the only one. You see, Brazil at the time I was a kid was big on japanese culture. I remember watching all tv series and anime with glee in my eyes and fulfillment in my soul.
I mean, there was a tv network that would daily show the latest super sentai series, metal hero series and kamen rider series, and tons of anime, not to mention reruns. And save for dubbing, mostly all of that was unadulterated.
*throws semi-random old opening music at people to stay in the topic's theme, while having a grin in his face for finally understand what the hell people are singing*
Juspion (known in Brazil as Jaspion, because it sounds closer to the japanese pronunciation)
Kamen Rider Black RX (continuation of the legendary Kamen Rider Black, whose OP was laughable at best, and thus not a part of this list)
Dengeki Sentai Changeman

This song makes me want to learn the lyrics. Rap about food is just the best, can't we all agree?

So I found this and I loved it. I'm posting it here because I think this would be a real treat for Arch, who enjoys the music of FFVI, and it is very good music. There's a lengthy part devoted to Kefka that I think he will appreciate.

The answer to that burning question on K's mind, "what's that weirdo referring to now?" I remember when this and Hysteria by Muse were both a hit with the radio where I'm from. What do you think, has it stood the test of time?

Yeah, I remember that song. It's okay. It was so overplayed around here that I was happy when radio moved on. Haven't heard it in years.

I watched The Wire. I wouldn't say I'm a fan since I found it to be very depressing, but I'm glad I watched it.
