At some point, Zeiss will give Javan four letters sealed by his magical signet ring, a description of his friends and his father's address (the last one he used anyway).

Rory was half-finished with his sushi gumbo by the time Javan mentioned the Doom Crater and Arwic.

"When were you planning to leave?" Rory asked Zeiss. "I don't think the guards are ready to organize themselves, much less fight for what doesn't belong to them. Can we leave in a couple days if you want me? I'll inspire that the Veil is their home now, their last haven. Hopefully that will make them fight harder if anything haplpens while we're gone."

During their stay, he tried a bite of the Fire Calamari before passing it on. A while after he's stomached the bite, he'll flag down a waiter and order a bottle of one of their best wines for the gentleman he bumped into earlier.

OOC: Fortitude roll for the rock salts. I am expecting a bill for my meal(unless it's free).

Kolson nods to Zeiss to show he understands. "Oh, by the way I know you gave me this for safe keeping but I don't think taking it on the road is a good idea." The red mage passes the leycite back to Zeiss. "I don't think anything will happen to me but you never know."

Zeiss nods and resumes eating.

With regret, in response to Javan, Rory announces, "Then, I think I'll have to stay. Sorry, Zeiss. The recruits need to be organized, and they're far from the warriors we need 'em to be. I'm sure Sareth and Van will be glad for the help, whoever's stayin', and my people will feel more comfortable with one of their own in charge, too."

Rory has elected to remain in Holtburg while Zeiss is away in Glenden Wood.

Zeiss is staying in Holtburg. Javan is going for Glenden Wood.
