"Guys, if you want your share, come get it. I don't know how we will do we the gems though."

"Wait, wait. I say throw them into the Armordillo's nest."

"Why ya wantin' to go all the way 'round there? You ain't foolin' no one - chuck 'em over ya shoulder on the way out." Snarg suggests.

Realizing what the Fairy was suggesting, a wolfish grin spread across Rory's face. "Yes," he concurred sinisterly. "And who else could throw them further than the Tusker?"

Rory bolts out the inn doors yet a second time, searching for the Tusker.

O'ulan'takangaskan is currently strolling through the town, enjoying the feeling of being out in the sunlight.

"O'ulan'takangaskan!" Rory shouted, trotting up to the big fellow. "I think you're gonna love this. How would you like to be the one to exact revenge on your captors?"

The Tusker looks down at Tabran and Rory quizzically. "What do you mean, exactly?"

"Well, they might not fall for it," he admitted, "but here's what we have in mind." He extends the palm of his hand and opens his closed fist.

"I have here in my hand the coins the owners of that gold weaved to trace them to whoever may have taken their loot. You could probably throw them to the moon, but if you've been paying attention to talk in town, you'd know that there's an armordillo nest a ways out west from the town.

"I don't think I need to spell it out," the barbarian smirked with no small hint of satisfaction.

The Tusker gives a booming laugh you believe could be heard for miles around. "Well, I suppose that would be amusing. I've no doubt they could handle a pack of Armordillos but... at the least it would be an irritant." He takes all four coins, pauses, then decides rather than throwing he'll plant them directly and lumbers off at a rapid pace.

Hanuel walks out of the inn, looking for the Tusker, only to see himvlumbering off into the distance. "I guess I missed him..."

The Tusker returns in fairly short time, looking amused. "One of the 'Dillos ate one of the coins. I'd feel bad for it if I didn't know their digestive system."

Hanuel laughs before addressing the tusker. "I was wondering, when you attacked and damaged the orb in the cave, what exactly happened?"

O'ulan'takangaskan winces visibly. "I only tried once, it was very powerfully protected. While I did manage to knock the thing ajar hitting it full force, the counter-reaction caused me to black out for many hours. I awoke to the mages present, having already fixed any damage I had caused, warning me not to do so again or they would not release me."

"A similar thing happened when I tried. I only touched it and it flung me back against a wall. Even firing my crossbow at it was useless."

Location: Inn

Rory scans the room for female patrons of friendly disposition.

"Oh, some tracking spell on the coins we found. Tabran is looking into it. Maybe you can ask one of our colleagues to check on them too?"

*kezrinthka was curious about these coins. Who would want to track the location of a random piece of gold? Or perhaps was their aim to attempt to track the treasure as a whole? That seemed far more likely.*

"If it does not displease the group I would suggest, now that we have abandoned those gold pieces, we make haste out of this town before whomever is tracking them comes looking for us. I would prefer not to meet that yellow mage or his compatriarts in battle, much less in the middle of town where there would be innocent casualties."
