Third Adventure 02: Golem and Crystal

Caladrius, the moment his quarterstaff taps the crystal, is flung back violently, landing several feet away in a huff. He took no damage, but feels extremely unsteady and is having difficulty focusing now.

Caladrius "Wicked! Well it doesn’t like wood" Caladrius scrounges up a torch lights it and gently toss the lit torch towards the crystal, and quickly get out of the way encase the lit torch rebounds

Snarg studies the iron plate for a moment and then places it back down on a table. He hoists the Olthoi back up on his shoulder and steps out in the main room, cackling as he watches Caladruis fly back from the crystal.

Sethos, now sitting in the mass puddle that is the ground next to Kez's unconscious body, lights a match and throws it at the crystal.

The match clinks against the crystal and bounces off, the fire having gone out the moment it hit the crystal. The now-dead match clatters to the ground.

"Eh, maybe we ain't needin' to be playin' 'round with Order stuff, yeah? Let's get goin' and tell 'em job's done."

"I agree with Snarg. We're done here."

Zeiss wrote:"I agree with Snarg. We're done here."

"I'd at least like to search that Lugian before we go."

*Kezrin leaps to her feet violently slashing both hind claws at Snarg who is carrying her.*

Yelling Skittish:

*She pulls both hind claws back high in the air and swings then down with such violent force that one of them actually lodges in the floor as it slices through Snarg's arm, severing his hold on her. Turning she screams at Snarg at him once more.*

Undercomon:

*she raises her one free hind claw, but catches sight of the Human behind him and her attention slides to him*

Common:
HUMANS THIS HUMANS THAT! You are PITIFUL! All you are is a Blasted ELF! COMMON ELF WITH NO EARS! I SHALL MAKE YOU AN ELF!

*she pounces on the elf and grabs his ears pulling the upward and outward from the crest*

I wish we had been able to speak to some one that worked here before we came out here

Sethos dives onto Kez as fast as he can with his broken leg, pulling on her with all his strength. He pulls out his quarterstaff and lifts it up to hit her across the head.

Snarg howls as Kez slices his arm, he half-pivots and grabs his great sword out from under Hidaide. Pivoting around again, he brings his sword up to bear at Kez.

Spoiler:

*she slices the tips of one of the human's ears pulling the two edges up hard making a point.*

The burun smacks her with his staff, inflictin minor damage and infuriating her.

*She tosses the human away from her and he goes hurtling through several people taking them with him. Grabing the burun with both hands she skewers him with both claws at once several times.*

Rory struggles with the giant bug. He pulls his knife and attempts to stab her for all he's worth.
"GET OFF, YOU FILTHY SLIME SQUIRTING MAGGOT!"

What in the 9 gates of hell
Attempt to cast sleep on kez

Zeiss took his rapier and attacked Kez.

"Dara, do something too!"

*the burun slums to her feet. She turns and jumps on the gnoll.*

"FILTH HOW DARE YOU! I LET SLIDE YOUR AUDACITY TO LAY HANDS UPON ME AND YOU DARE TO RAISE A WEAPON TO ME!"

*She stands to her full ten feet holding the gnoll by the scruff of his neck and slams him into the ceiling before bringing him down to the floor with all her might.*

Rory reaches up to the source of the pain on his ears. As he looks at his hands and sees the blood, fury overtakes him. He draws his bow and shoots arrow after arrow.

Snarg bears his teeth and howls loudly. He brings his sword fully up and down in a monstrous swing at Kez.

Spoiler:

*the elf rogue's rapier flashed in her sights. She slams one hind claw into his chest. knocking him to the ground, she stomps and stands over him. Grinning she pushes all her strength into her legs before jumping and slamming her massive body onto his chest.

*Kezrin looks down at the crumpled elf she is standing on and blinks, turning she looks around the room.*

"Did we find another water golem?"

At about this point several arrows and a large greatsword collide with Kezrinthka, injuring her brutally and sending her to the ground, Downed.

Rory stuttered in surprise, and his eyes flashed red. He walks up and stomps the air out of Kez's stomach. "Goddamned pest," he gnashes.

*she had time to blink as her comrades weapons came down upon her then the world went black and she did not even dream.*

She almost stepped on him. Then, the others attacked her and she fell down beside him. Zeiss breathed heavily.

"...What about leaving this mine? Like, right now?"
