Now I wonder if you'll figure out what was up with him out there on Aerlinthe Lassel.

Hmm, I'm only at part 15 where they entered the dungeon. I may learn what happened to him later, but with the few info I have and considering the food wasn't real, I'm guessing he died of starvation.
The Araiguna they found was most likely a projection. A left-over. But hey, I could be wrong.

He's alive? What happened? Is he going to continue as an NPC?

I wonder if Kolson is up for some RP. I mean, they'll be in the road for a considerable amount of time, and I doubt I'll have the chance to have some RP with other party members for a long time IG and IRL.

Lol, I think I'd have to bust out Toon for that one. Or maybe Mutants and Masterminds. Hmm...
*Kolson begins furiously scribbling down notes to make this a thing.*
I'm also up for the RP Essoje and I think its a great idea.

Re: Welcome back home
Hey Arch, I decided to create an emblem for Zeiss' signet ring which would also serve as the Exchange's emblem and would consequently replace the other image I linked you a long time ago. So please retcon it? *I fall on my knees and beg*
The "sun" represents freedom. The invisible circle represents the Exchange which protects freedom without restraining it.

Man, I always thought this was the Exchange's signet ring (not really).

Except that we don't have any pork left; Bonebreaker left with the last one we had.

Re: Welcome back home
First of all, done on the emblem. The live campaign party likes the idea of the chopped up pork emblem though.
Second, this is probably obvious but I don't think I ever said so openly; actions will not move forward until everyone has committed to their next current action (aka if everyone does all 3 actions but one player does one, only the first action resolves until the second action is committed). Just for clarification.

Oh and Third: I was thinking when/if you guys catch up to the live campaign we might revert to a normal formula, but that depends on your guys' input and how the daily format goes. I'm open to discussion on this matter.

Re: Welcome back home
Of course the live party would like the pork emblem... and thank you for agreeing to retconning my emblem.
As for committing our actions, I did notice it. I haven't said anything about Kolson withholding his third action because knowing what the deal with the Olthoi is about seems important enough to pause the day.
And the thing about returning to a normal format: I wouldn't be against it... if we ever catch up to the live party. As of Primus 15, the date was 28th of March if I'm not mistaken. That's plenty of time to do our stuff.
For now, I'll continue to build up the Resistance.

Re: Welcome back home
We're still in it for the long haul. We've got 18 campaign days to do. 3-5 real days spent on each day's thread puts our catching up time at 8-13 weeks.
At some point, assuming there are no major events happening, we could skip a week, setting that aside to "rebuild the Exchange". We can each pick 3 skills to go with our actions for a week, with choice of consequences from exceptional successes.

Re: Welcome back home
I'd rather not 'skip' a week, because its sometimes the small things that you remember the most. I'm pretty sure Araiguna jumping into a freaking pool of something was one of the greatest minor actions of this campaign, and it only took a few seconds.
Imagine if we took that week off because no major events were happening and Arch went "Oh, and by the way, Araiguna went poof and you don't know why and you don't feel like caring about it to do anything"?! What kind of bleak alternate future would have been created from that event?!

Then we assume nothing minor happened either.

I understand where you are coming from but I didn't really know what to do with my third action without more info. If you feel I would spend it on an obvious course of action or if it takes more than one action to see Gretta, then feel free to move us along. Otherwise, some feed back would be helpful.
If it helps I made this handy list of primary and secondary goals for the meeting.
Primary Goals:
What is the plan specifically?
Who is negotiating the deal?
Would it make more sense for Kolson himself to take the lead on the negotiations?
If not, is there some way he can help make it a successful thing?
Secondary Goals:
Try to gauge Gretta's motive in all this.
Build up a working relationship with Gretta.
Gauge strengths and weaknesses of Gretta's operation.

Re: Welcome back home
Higaide, feel free to send me letters to report on the Janwall situation. Depending for how much we sell the Leycite, I might just fund the reconstruction with that. We'll see.
Oh Arch, I think you forgot the part in Kolson's second action where he asks about what the Olthoi deal is all about. Just pointing that out, no need to send an army of butterflies after me.
And consider the armbands paid. I didn't understand the joke about the Exchange being a Peace corp though. The only corps I know of belong to the Aluvian army.

Re: Welcome back home
Just to be sure, the refugees you're referring to aren't the ones working for us, are they? I was excluding them too.
My aim is to simply find another place for the refugees to rebuild their lives. In spite of the state of Aluvia's economy of late, they are taking advantage of them. What I think I can do is send a letter to Central, addressed to Kez. I'd like to ask her if she can make an issue of finding a new place for the refugees, specifically to make contact with Osteth. Rory heard they're good sports. Or, alternatively, I could speak to an ambassador or representative for the Olthoi. Or...or just see if the Olthoi can make things better, dammit. Rory is amenable to upending a table over it.

The Peace Corp thing was a Babylon 5 reference, don't sweat it.

So, do the Olthoi have an embassy from Central stationed in Holtburg?
The way I see it, the guards will need to be soldiers if the situation arises.
