Third Adventure 02: Golem and Crystal

With his axe drawn, Rory begins sneaking as best he can and approaches each door, listening and looking for signs of intelligent life.

Tabran:
Whatever this is, it was not artificially created per say. Rather, it was encouraged to form in the manner that it did. Naturally forming, but guided.

That crystal was fascinating. And obviously important.

Snarg cackles and breaks his gaze on his reflection, looking over his shoulder at the group. "One of ya gonna touch it? Ya know ya wantin' to, maybe ya get it over with now."

Hanuel followed behind Rory, opening the doors that were clear after checking as best as they could for traps.

*being one of the few in the group who didn't look like they were about to fall over dead, Kez in a moment of likely blind stupidity walks over and touches the crystal.*

The Olthoi reaches out a clawed hand to touch the crystal and immediately gets shocked still, unable to move, as though a great current is running through her body. After a few moments she lets go, and passes out.

"...Great. Someone else to carry."

Well that didn't tell me much let's try this

Tabran:
Something happens that has never happened to you before. You cast the spell, the Mana is burnt, but nothing happens. No resistance, no reflection or deflection, and no information whatsoever.

Sethos coughs as Kez falls to the floor next to him before kneeling down to do some healing.

"Hey Dara, get a little closer... not too much."

Zeiss took his gourd and threw some water at the crystal.

Sethos:
Near as you can tell nothing is wrong with Kezrinthka.

"Ehehe, bug zappa." Snarg snorts to himself as he hoists Kez in a carrying position.

Zeiss:
The water lingers on the crystal before being sucked into it. It glows a bit brighter.

*She can't move its as if her body has been frozen and a great current is running through it. She blinks and she finds her self sitting in a giant watery library. It does appear that I did not make the brightest of decisions there. looking around her she spots one of her favorite encyclopedias and her favorite chair from her apartment in the hive. so I'm either dead or unconscious... Well best make the most of it then... She walks over pulls the volume off the book shelf and settles in for a long read. I hope they at least drag my body along with them

Snarg begins entering the different offices, carrying the Olthoi with him, and looks around the rooms.

Most of the offices have been cleared out, probably in a hurry. You do find a single piece of iron plate which you recognize as the type of magical transcriber the Order uses. It is, of course, blank at the moment, not being activated.

"The job is done. We could go back to town and take our payment. I don't know what else there is to do."
