Third Adventure 02: Golem and Crystal

Sethos walks back to his bat and picks it up from the floor, he straps it onto his back once more and follows the rest of the group.

As you continue down and around the bend you find that the hallway continues on for quite some ways. Towards the end there are two doors, both are wide open at the moment, and for the first time you notice several blood trails leading towards the door on the right.

"Let's follow the blood. All of us. Just in case."

*kezrinthka trails the back of the group, occasionally looking behind her*

"Uh oh. Maybe you better be stoppin' for a sec." Snarg says with a worried tone.

Spoiler:

As you are carefully examining the blood trails you hear a sound from behind you as another water globule appears seemingly out of no where and begins hurtling towards your group.

*rolls Initiative*

Party wins initiative again.

Hanuel swings around and fires off a shot, Dara firing a shot right afterwards.

Stepping in front of the group, Gwydo raises his shield, bracing for the impact, hoping to deflect the incoming blow away from the group.

*kezrin flexes her hind claws drawing out the sharp bladed ends*

Snarg sticks his tongue out to the side and spins around, rapidly shooting two arrows off at the globule as he turns. He nervously glances over his shoulder as he moves to draw from his quiver for the next salvo.

Spoiler:

Not bothering with the oil after their last easy victory, Rory raises his axe, preparing a downward swing in the same manner as before. "What a waste," he mumbles.

Kolson draws his sword and attacks the nearby water thing.

"Oh frell... might as well."

Zeiss took his rapier and attacked it, hoping to not get killed.

Spoiler:

Snarg manages to nail the globule with both arrows, but neither arrow actually pierces its water surface, it merely shimmers. The glow from the water goes down again, and the light in the room is now quite dim, and it is very difficult to see.
Rory manages to chop the creature, actually penetrating its surface and causing it to splay out in a puddle of water.

*combat over*

"..."

It was already over. Again. No matter, they had to hurry.

"We need a torch."

Hanuel reloads the spent crossbow, and pulls out a lamp so the others can see.

Now having some free time, an examination of the blood yields the speculation that someone was dragged towards the open door, not under their own power.

The door to the right, where the blood trails lead, is another long hallway with an open door at its end, and lined with glowing water.

The door ahead leads to a fairly large chamber with a staircase stretching across the breadth of it, leading down to a very large door.

*kezrin reaches in her pack and pulls out her lantern lighting the small candle within. At this point Sol also pops out of the bag and begins zooming about kez clearly happy to see she is feeling better.*

"Eh, figures." Snarg mutters he begins unfastening his greatsword.

Kolson pulls out one of his torches and lights it with his flint and tinder.

"I prefer torches. They let you see and you can light things on fire."

Sethos turns back to their path.
"I think we should get going before another one shows up"
He keeps his quarterstaff in hand this time as he follows the group.

Snarg grabs the extra torch from Kolson in his teeth. "Wlight 'er uwp iwfa ywa neewd."

"Someone with a torch, follow me."

Zeiss went through the door to the right.

Spoiler:

*Kezrin follows the others through the door, staying somewhat in the middle of the group, hind claws flexed and ready.*

Kolson lights the torch in Snog's mouth.

"There you go. I don't think I've ever seen them used in quite that way."
