February 18th:

Zeiss gives a blank look to Rory.

"We call the room where an airship is controlled the bridge."

He turns to Fierneceal.

"Can you take us to these strange equipment?"

"So let's go there! Sounds like that's where we've got to go to fix this!" Snarg is hopping up and down, looking back and forth from Fiernaceal to the door.

Fierneceal frowns. "Uhm, yeah sure, I know where it is. If you want to head there now I can speed it up, I... think?"

"Then.. do it?"

Zeiss now looks uncertain because of Fierneceal's uncertainty.

"Yes! Do it!" Snarg looks extremely excited at the prospect.

"No, focus on that...message, first. Then go to that...place. I still don't understand what's going on, how are you going to send this message?"

"Right, message, message. Give me a bit." She begins looking at the other panels, hurriedly.

After a fairly LONG period of time she has rotated her way around most of the bridge, found the maneuvering controls, weapons, internal tracking, and a dozen other features before she finally settles on the communications hub. "Okay... Found it!" She grins brightly, but it quickly falls. "Wait what am I doing now?"

"We need to get someone down here who can fix this and contain the magical energy," Rory repeated. "You probably have a better idea of whoever that might be, and who'd be near equipment that could receive the message. Put it on repeat, too. It would be a welcome bonus if they could get here before Araiguna turns again. If they can't...I don't know. It'll be up to us then."

"Rory... the magical energy is already contained. Didn't you see Hanuel fix the pipe? Snarg and Gwydo even helped him. And Hanuel passed out from it..."

Rory looked at Zeiss. "Uh, right. Anyway, we should see what we can do from our end in the meantime."

Zeiss shakes his head.

"I do not see what message we could send. Neither why we should send one. I would prefer that one else except us knows about this airship. So why don't we go take a look at these strange equipment?"

"Wait ... do we want people being able to pick up a message from down here? Don't get me wrong, I want some help too, but we might have military ships swarming this place if they find out about it. Giving one nation a ship of this power could be ... bad." Snarg looks up and down the bridge. "We're going to have to keep this a secret or do something. This is not what we want to have turn up in the middle of a war."

"Okay... uh, I suppose that means you want to head to the other sector of the facility now?"

"Well, I don't know what we can do. Do you think there's a way to get the message to Kolson?"

Fierneceal frowns and works with the equipment for a bit. "I... can't, no, not unless he has a receiver. This can send basic audio but only in a certain radius from here, which is only about fifty miles."

To Rory, he says :

"We can go tell him in person. It takes less than a day to travel to Holtburg."

"I'll deliver it personally if I've got to. Now, let's get to that weird stuff."

"You got it. Uhm, nobody move for a minute."

She concentrates really hard for a long moment, eyes closed and a faint blue aura slowly building around her, before it dies down and she blinks her eyes back open. "Okay! Everyone into the, uh... elevator, I guess it's called?" She shrugs and wanders in.

Securing the canvas again, Snarg hops in to the center of the 'elevator'.

Zeiss frowns at what Fierneceal just did. And with a concerned look, follow her.

"...What was that for exactly? Were you calling for the elevator?"

"Oh no," she says somewhat brightly. "Just setting it up to translate us."

As the entire group finishes entering the room, the door closes and a great hazy wave of energy wafts over your senses instantly before you find yourself standing on a large, elaborately-designed pad elsewhere in the facility. It is almost pitch black here, wherever you are.

Realizing that they are in complete darkness, Zeiss uses his ring of light. He is still in shock over what just happened, whatever it was.

"Running through these faster than ... here." Snarg rummages in his pack with his one free hand, bringing out a torch. He almost lights it but stops just short. "You wouldn't happen to be able to turn the lights on before I use this, Fier?"
