"We're not even at full strenght, and it's night-time!" Raver turns "...Lady Matriarch and Noble Gnoll" He nods "We have been sapped of our powers from dealing with the Centaurs. Can we rest here and head to town later at dawn?"

The two look at the wolf a bit incredulously before eyeing the debris in the room. "Well if you really want to you are welcome to, but we do not have any proper facilities for you to sleep upon save some piles of hay."

Whis Kor takes off his pack and fumbles around in it a moment. He begins pulling things out and setting them down besides himself, finally appearing satisfied after having found a bedroll, whetstone, rope, several fishing hooks, and a waterskin. Closing up his pack, he stands while grabbing the waterskin, hooks, and rope, and starts moving off towards the entrance.

Whis Kor's efforts are surprisingly fruitful and he catches 7 fish in his time. It occurs to him briefly that the Gnolls or Kobolds or both are probably well used to fish as a meal and can help him prepare it, if he feels uncertain in doing so.

Rory picked out a spot on the hay and sat there, brooding.

A visit with the mayor gone south. Infighting. Talking down not one, but two clans to avoid being attacked. Getting all his dirty laundry aired out in front of the group. Failing to capture an enemy that almost wouldn't die. Barely saving victims of a cave-in with no casualties. And on top of all that, he didn't get breakfast until roughly 5pm.

Whis gets the help of one of the uninjured Kobolds who guides him to a spot near the base of the cave where the river comes out of and shows him their cooking spot. "The winds from the cave hide the smoke quite well we've found," he says cheerfully as he cooks up the fish for them. "I hope you don't mind a little seasoning, I can't just let good food go unseasoned!" In deference to the many species present, he only adds a bit of salt and pepper to the fish as he grills them, finally presenting the Sclavi all the fish steaks in a square container, still sizzling. "Eat 'em while they're hot, it'll be good!"

Whis Kor divvies out the food amongst his kin, brooding as he goes. Ensuring that everyone has some of the (surprisingly delicious) fish to munch on, he retires to his bedroll.
