Thirteen characters is a pretty large number. Will individuals be joining up and parting across the main and sub plots too keep party(s) small?

I want to buy an armor. If I take a leather armor from D&D which costs 10gp and modify the material to chittick, it will cost me 50gp, right?

And what will be its bonuses in that case?

Correct on the pricing. The bonus is a Materials bonus, which is separate from the other categories of bonuses and as such stacks fully (for example if you had a magical chittick leather armor of +1, that'd be +2 for chittick and +1 for magical). And to answer the base question: +2 AC for chittick hide.

Good question, and I'm going to answer this in general for any future intentions to Weave. The basic way this goes is this; you tell me what you want to Weave, and I tell you if it's possible (first), how likely it is (second), and how much CXP it's going to cost roughly (third). Now, CXP costs can be reduced by a good Weaving roll. But here's the big rule for me; once you've done the go-ahead and done the roll, for all intents and purposes your character has now made the item, so no going back from that point. The roll will be very gradient, which will determine whether or not it works at all, how well it works, how much CXP it cost (if any), any BONUS abilities you gain, charges it has for uses, that sort of thing.

Sounds good to me. Just to see how things shake out I'll list off some items.

1. Steel Masterwork Chain Shirt.
2. A Silver Club +1
3. A Bag of Holding
4. A dapper umbrella that causes a small, localized rain storm to form around the person or object it's pointed at a certain number of times per day.
5. A Red Mage hat that protects the wearer from the effects of natural weather.

1: Possible, pricey, and will cost an average of 3 CXP.
2: Ditto.
3: Actually I have a habit of giving out bags of holding at char creation to skip the management of minor inventory.
4: Possible, though I'd like to know how large of a rain storm you are thinking? That will determine the other variables.
5: Also possible, though I'd like you to define its protection. Are we talking water/cold/snow/heat proof? Or thunderstorm proof? How severe are we talking.

I'm liking where this is going.

4. Enough to put a small cloud or three, each about the size of a cocker spaniel, above one medium person or person-sized object.

5. I was thinking moderate rain, heat up to 120 degrees F, and cold down to 20 degrees F. I'm mostly looking to remove the weather inconveniences a traveling merchant is likely to run into, without removing the interesting narrative potential of extreme weather. If that is too low or high, a rough estimate of doable would be appreciated.

Edit: Any chance the hat can always find its way back to Kolson, somehow?

I'm going to say that's possible and feasible on point 4 and 5 both. As for the hat returning, that'll depend on the roll. So at this point it's up to you to roll 'em... now in case I didn't make this clear, the sword and armor will be costly to the point where, if you roll poorly, that'll eat up all your starting CXP, and remember my rule; once you roll 'em, the item is made, no going back. To share a philosophy Flux has been using, what he'll often do is roll one item at a time in some order of priority, and depending on how well he does determine if he wants to make more. So if you want to, say, roll them bones on the armor or weapon and see if you have anything left to work with, I'm okay with that.

Would it be cool if I could weave my fur cloak to give a stealth/survival bonus? I want it to be something like a hunting cloak that Hanuel can use to sneak up on prey unnoticed.

Not the best roll but that puts you at 21, not too shabby. I'm going to say you succeed, but no additional bonuses and it costs... 2 CXP total. Unless you've done anything I don't know about that leaves you with 2 CXP remaining.

Yes it would, possible and relatively easy depending on how high a skill you want. Same general rules I just quoted for Kolson if you want to roll it.

I'm thinking a bonus around 3 - 5? Just want to get a feel of how reasonable that would be. I'd say the survival bonus is the more important feature, with a lesser stealth bonus

It'll depend on your roll as to how high both bonuses are but I'm going to allow a minimum of 1 to each even if you roll poorly. CXP cost will probably only be about 1 for this.

A 16 is not great but not terrible. I'm going to still require 1 CXP cost, but you will get +3 Survival and +2 Stealth out of that. (assuming I'm not spontaneously misremembering you wanting priority on Survival).

Question on Aspects, I am trying to compile a master list of charter with embedded links for you, and I noticed that Hanuel has Dara as an Aspects I am just wondering about this? Do only Fairies have Aspects or am I missing something?

Yes you can but as usual be aware that action point is going to stay gone so you'll basically be starting with 4.

Hanuel is a Green Mage. Green Mages summon Aspects. Thus they keep track of their Aspect as a separate character sheet.
