February 13th: Bonebreaker and Jailbreak

Fierneceal cracks a small smile and wanders off, scanning the crowd for Snarg. When she finds him, she accidentally 'runs into' him, staggering slightly. "We're on," she says, pretending to fumble for her footing. "I've got him. Follow me."

*Z catches sight of feir "bumping" into snarg and ambles in the direction the two are headed, keeping an eye out to see if anyone is paying particular attention to the duo or otherwise acting strange around the area.*

"Sorry about that." Snarg says to Fier. He casually follows Fierneceal's path after she gets some distance away.

Fierneceal scans the area again for Z and Tabran. When she locates them, she pulls Snarg over and leans on Tabran, laughing amicably. She quietly says, "Z, Tab, stay here. I've found him, and I'm taking Snarg so he can smoke bomb me. Now's the time to cause a ruckus. You'll see which wagon he's in by my direction."

Fierneceal begins heading toward the wagon, yanking Snarg with her as she goes, seeming to use Snarg as support, being careful not to bump anyone on the way through the caravan, weaving as expertly as she's stumbling, until they're at the rear of the wagon holding Zeiss, where she trips over her cloak and falls ungracefully into a heap. "Now," she hisses to Snarg.

*Z wanders off with Tabran in tow.*

"Did you hear? The council's reached a decision about what to do with the supposed warmonger, Zeiss what's his name."

Snarg palms the smoke bombs and chucks them towards the indicated direction.

"you know i hear that the military is just using them to cover there ass they dont even cair if he is guilty as long as there safe"

*Z speakes up a little louder than before.*

"What! You mean the trial is just a ruse!"

Several people near the caravan begin muttering, a few travelers on the street and random passerby's stop to listen, frowning as they start gossiping amongst themselves.

"you know i even heard that you are hiding him in a merchants wagon as they dont want us normal people to know he has been tried till its to late for the poor guy"

"I can't believe that! What's the world coming to that they would charge someone without a fair trial!."

*Z continues to walk in amiable converstaion of a similar vein headed nearer to the area Fier had dissapeared to. She spots Sethos and heads over to him, parting ways with Tabran.*

*Upon reaching him, she gives a cordial greeting.*

"I hear the council has finally reached a decision on the War starting charges against Zeiss. Would you believe the trial is all a ruse? They are going to convict him without a fair proper trial! I hear they are not even going to make an announcement and are going to sneak him out of the military prison without telling the people anything!"

Within a couple of minutes the crowd nearby has grown somewhat, and a few people have left their houses and joined the increasing throng of people, and the shouting is beginning to increase as people begin taking up the cry of "Justice for Aluvians"

"i hear that the trial for this so called war criminal is a Ruse and that his guilt was decided before he was even court?"

*Z mingles with the crowd members within about 20 to 40 feet of the wagon Snarg is near. She occasionally throws out a shout with the crowd.*

"Justice for Alluvians."

"I'd totally believe that, he could be anywhere and we wouldn't know. Why should they hide him!? It's a fucking disgrace is what it is!" Sethos says, coughing a little, surprised at the venom that he spoke with, "Knowing these pigs we've got in charge of this place, they'd probably put him right under our noses, he's probably in that fucking caravan right there" he says pointing to the caravan next to them as it draws non-chalantly past.

Tabran now starts moving closer to wards Fier and the wagon.

As the surrounding air fills with smoke, Fierneceal reaches up and places a hand on the door of the wagon, willing it to unlock.

As the door opens, she reaches in and grabs Zeiss, saying, "Hold on," as she bodily hefts him out the door, throwing the cloak around his shoulders and placing the ring on his finger, keeping a hand firmly wrapped around his arm. She turns and touches Snarg, whispering, "Hold on to me tightly. Whatever you do, don't let go."

Right before Fierneceal rushes in, without any warning whatsoever a dozen glaring spotlights appear in the sky above and begin circling the crowd, sending several people into a panic. A loud voice comes over, demanding that people disperse. Those of you with the Knowledge can tell that is an Aluvian Destroyer-class Military Airship which has apparently been running on silent in the dark night over the caravan for who knows how long.

Several people scream in the crowd and they quickly begin to panic, spreading in all directions, and those of you who are paying attention can tell weapons are being brought to bare when suddenly everything nearby goes absolutely pitch black.

Snarg grasps Fierneceal tightly as he stares wide-eyed around him in to the darkness.

Fierneceal latches on to Zeiss as hard as she can and, with Snarg grabbing onto her, hisses, "This is our only chance." She forges forward quickly toward where she remembers last seeing the others, throwing her wine bottle to the ground after they've made about 20 feet of headway. "Crap," she yells drunkenly, "There goes my wine!"

Sethos , a little way aways from the rest of the group finds himself kneeling close to the floor as the lights descend in the wind, when everything gets dark feels himself panicking for what feels like minutes but in actuality was seconds, before he gets up and stumbles quietly through the dark, in the direction that as far as he remembers is the right one.

Fierneceal touches the manacles through the cloak and wills them open, quickly grabbing them and tossing them as far as she can toward the wagon. She continues through until she's pulled Zeiss and Snarg out of the darkness, and quickly ducks into an alley.

Fierneceal was carrying him. He could not really believe that she was there. He wondered if he was dreaming. But just in case he wasn't, he told her :

"...They cast sleep on me."

"Fox ... where's the fox?" Snarg hisses as they make their way out of the confusion.
