Lol, that did come off travel bloggy didn't it? Eh, I had fun writing it.

That reminds me of an anecdote though. When we were flying back I read a travel article in the airline magazine that compared the water in the canals of Venice to mouthwash. Gave me a good chuckle with how bad it was. I mean, why would you compare something to mouthwash if you are trying to do a favorable write up?

It's so clean, it'll kill you if you drink it. I don't see anything wrong with that... Who are they fooling? Aren't the canals their version of sewers?

Yup. They stink to high heaven from what I heard, especially in summer.

X-Men Apocalypse... I'm glad I went to watch it after all. I might not watch it ever again (mostly because of many great movies coming out lately), but it's one of the better X-Men movies out there.

Next on the list: Warcraft... Let's hope it works out and we get more out of Blizzard. I know that if it worked well, it would make Arch a happy camper. Heck, it would make ME a happy camper too, because of how much I despise Blizzard's gameplay for most of their games yet how much I love the kind of storytelling and attention to details that is shown in them.

That is the first positive "review" I've seen of the movie. Some friends and I are planning on seeing it tomorrow night. We tend to be a bit more... critical.

Yeah, I don't go watching a movie expecting much from them, it tends to get in the way of me enjoying them more often than not. If I'm going to throw big bucks at some theater to watch a movie, might as well do my best so I don't make a good or ok movie a bad one for myself just because I set my bar too high.

Also, here's a video that helps explains why I don't give two sheits about what critic sites say about a movie.

Because sometimes hacking a Dark Souls game isn't about griefing. Greatest thing ever for a DS player happens at around 8:40.

I'm impressed. A hacker that isn't an asshole. I have to admit the idea of miniboss players is intriguing. I wonder if someone will ever do anything with it as part of their game.

Actually, that has been happening since Dark Souls 2, with a few hackers creating minibosses with interesting attack patterns or simply visually impressing, but never unfair.

Too bad for each of them fellas that make me feel glad to be human there's 10k stupid infinite health kids. I should feel lucky tho, for the 2 hackers that I ever encountered in a Souls game were in places with plenty of ledge to fall off from. Thank FROM gravity is OP.

LMAO. Yes, this kind of bad movie clips? I can dig them no problem. It's stupid, make no sense and that's exactly what's going on when you follow the wrestling scene.

Yup! I love the stilted line readings and nonsensical happenings. It's like watching someone who's never seen a movie before try to make one using only anecdotes their friends shared about movies in general. It's brilliant. I'm wondering what else TNA will let the Hardy's do before the whole promotion folds.

I'm going to agree with the drunk lady, I don't need no drama in mah game unless I buy the game for the drama. That's why Life Is Strange exists and that's why I'm never buying it.

Also I watched Warcraft. It was a good movie and I had fun. It's also considerably better than X-Men Apocalypse. I fail to see why the horde of fans are going berserk about it... but then again this is the internet so...

Maybe they wanted more modern Warcraft instead of Classic? I honestly have no idea.

Probably that certain part of the fan base that goes wild about the stupidest things in the forums. People that don't understand that the continuity of the movie (franchise?) is separate from that of the game franchise. Impossible for me to tell if I knew what they were specifically going berserk about - character portrayal, ending, narrative. Are they really just saying "this movie sucks!" and nothing else?

I'm planning on going this Friday, in case you guys were thinking about talking about it. Debuts late Thursday night in the states.

It all feels like they are going the "Oh, this is a movie based on a game? Must hate it! But wait... this is World of Warcraft too right? Must hate more! Wait another second... CGI anything?! MAXIMUM RAGE!!" route. If it ends up being true, it's sad really.
