Whatever is it, Higaide doesn't want to be caught in one. also, can't help but wonder why they just up and trust them with information, resources and hardware right off the bat.

Soon as he's away from prying... whatever those Sentinels have, Higaide will check Zeiss's file, for any mention of the incident in Sho (where he was framed for murder of a government official, no less), and who did it.

The Sentinel begins to explain the process of splitting an atom and the natural reaction such an effect would have in rather lengthy, complicated vocabulary.

Meanwhile, Higaide notices that information on Zeiss is, strangely, classified with the tag "Pending Incident Report #827259." This is also the first time Higaide notices the words can and do move on the pages, in a way similar to Woven Plates, as the words are flashing red.

A lot of it flies over his head, but what little Rory understands sounds like it's almost as bad as two airships colliding and creating a blast that disapparates everything caught in its radius. It just sounds like something really big, and really nasty. "You mean like with what happened over Marblebush? That was horrible. If you have that kind of weaponry...I mean, unless you're really desperate, who would want to use that? Wait, do airships have nuclear cores?"


Ready to board soon, after I hear what the Sentinel says.

"Nuclear fusion is an unsafe and primitive form of energy generation, no Vyeotian ships utilize it."

"Phew, that is a load off my mind." Rory boards the airship.

Mental note: sentinel dodged the question about whether they have this 'nuclear' energy and whether they intend to use it.

OOC: It's been a long time. If it wasn't Marblebush that got sucked into the void, then I don't remember. For now though, I am ready to explore the inside of the ship.

Higaide goes in too.

No sooner than the three are on board does the loading ramp pull back in and the ship seamlessly takes off. A pleasant male voice pipes up, "En route to Thramada, please buckle in for safety purposes." The ship hums as it zooms along, far faster than most airships you've seen as you can see out the window.

Javan, I need a dice roll.

In mid flight (it's not a long trip) Javan blinks and his eyes dim from the rather bright blue they'd become to a more normal. The crystals on his skin actually recede slightly, and Javan is himself again. Minus any memory of the last day or so.

Javan slowly looks around, his facial expression clearly showing he's becoming more and more aware that something is wrong, then turns to Higaide and Rory with an anxious look and says, "By the winds... did I mess things up again?"

Higaide looks at him weird - "No. Why?"

Javan blinks at Higaide's question and answers, somewhat dumbfounded, "I'm in an unfamiliar environment and I'm not sure why. The last time this happened to me was when... things went boom around me in Holtburg... .. So we are ok? Where are we?"

"What's the last thing you remember?"

"We're...on our way to Thramada. For that mission we've been given? Your crystals are fading," Rory muses, "but I thought they were the cause of your memory loss. What's happening to you?"

During this discussion the male voice suddenly pipes up again. "Arriving in outskirts of Thramada, please brace for landing." About a second later there's a thick, dull thud as the ship settles down and the exit ramp opens.

Javan was caught offguard by the sudden realization that he was on a ship, losing his balance for a moment but ends up not falling after all.

"Uh, ok... I'll take the very-short version on the situation and then we can talk again about this... Unless we have the ti-- No? We don't? Ok."

"Don't worry, I wrote it down."

As they get off, Rory asks the sentinel when the ship will return.

The Sentinel is, of course, not there. He wouldn't fit inside the ship actually. But the ship will pipe up helpfully that it will await their return here patiently.

The ship has also set down a couple of miles outside of the town, which is visible on the horizon. It seems much as you remember, though the rich and wealthy are seen frequently and in higher opulence than before, and whispers and words speak of the last party, and the next party currently being planned. Your party is actually somewhat under-dressed for for the city, as even the guards are dressed in outfits that look designed far more for appearance than functionality.

"Thramada," Rory utters with contempt. "Place is richer than my blood remembers... Party, huh? Could be an an opportunity."

"Let's go find our rooms first."

Your reservations are at the Torarius Estate, a large villa converted into a fanciful hotel. The front desk officer hides any distaste at your group's appearances beneath a veil of polite disinterest, and after you check in grants each of you your 'key'; a small wafer with clasps on the side that can be affixed to your shirt, palm, pocket, or otherwise. The rooms themselves have no doors, but walls that, when you attempt to move through them with the wafer key on you, allow you to move through them as if they weren't there.

The rooms are actually less luxurious than the ones you stayed at your last time here, though still better appointed than anywhere else you've been in your days. The beds are large and adjustable, there are scented candles magically burning, windows with shutters that can completely block out the light if closed, and a surprising amount of flora.

Higaide doesn't think he'll ever get used to this kind of luxury, less than last time or no.

Not yet having forgotten Jonathan's apparent memory loss, he checks the room for anything unusual - as much as he can without making a mess.

He'll check the files on his party again, to see if anything's changed. He'll do so periodically. Still hard for him to believe these people would just employ him, no questions asked.

There's lots of things Higaide does not recognize in the room, but nothing obviously Vyeotian in design. There's a few unmentionables that seem designed to make even your stay in the restrooms more comfortable.

Nothing else being the matter, Higaide will be ready to turn in and move on.
