Fifth Adventure 01: Trapped

Zeiss guides the group towards the receptionist. He still asks people to let them pass. Once he reach the receptionist, he shows him his badge. He still speaks loud enough so that he can be heard.

"Adjunct 113 of the Third Wing! Tell me there is a place in this building that is less crowded that here! We have to speak to a superior, now! We have vital information about the war!"

The receptionist shakes her head. "I'm afraid we don't have any members of the Third Wing here, but the Hezhit is upstairs. You'll have to work your way through the crowds though, every room is being used by Ibrexi's right now to try and help people."

"Who are we seeing and where are they located, ma'am?"

"He's on the second floor... go down the hallway, stairs are on the right, take the fifth left once you're up there. He's a Mite, Aurelon, though he might be busy right now."

Zeiss nods to the receptionist. The group tries to go upstairs and find this Hezhit. When they do, Zeiss go to him and says :

"113th Adjunct of the Third Wing. We are on direct orders to leave this region. Can you help us accomplish our mission?"

*kezrin had spent most of the day in shock*

The Mite, who is in the middle of a conversation with several people who look like either wealthy merchants or dignitaries, blinks curiously at you with about as much annoyance as a Mite is capable of conveying. "Rather blunt, and lacking tact, and I am in a meeting. I am not part of the Third Wing nor do I report to them, however if you would like to wait until I am done with my discussions, I do believe I might be able to help you." Without waiting for a response he turns back to his guests.

Zeiss stays silent and waits. He signs the others not to say anything.

Tab waits for the Mite to finish with his conversation

"in sorry for barging in on you we have had a hard time getting to meat any one here and im guessing that your day hasn't been any better with whats been happening of late"

The Mite lets his guests out and bows cordially to the group. "Apologies for that, busy as always, even more so now. I will make time in my schedule for you though, what brings the Third Wing here if I might ask?"

"I am sorry for my abruptness."

Zeiss bows a little.

"We carry dangerous information and we are on direct orders to leave this region. Preferably for Aluvia."

*Kezrin steps forward.*

"You have our apologies for the intrusion. I'm afraid we are on rather strict orders to evacuate the area, and haste and stealth are of the up most importance. At the very least we need to get a letter delivered to Holtburg, and Al'Erat."

The Mite stretches his long fingers in front of him, blue-grey fur flattening. "Humm. Sneaking out won't work unless you're good, really good, and with a group that size? No." He stands and begins to pace. "Bribery won't work, Naverre troops are renowned for their resistance to bribes. Likely to start trouble, again, no. But..." He strokes his long chin. "I think if we worked the political angle this might work. Favor for a favor... I happen to know a Distributor, who keeps his offices here in Al-Jalima, and I happen to know he's here right now. If you were willing to help him out in some way, a favor most like, he could get you through the blockade on official business."

"It would really help us."

Zeiss says this with gratitude and bows again.

*bows*

"You have our gratitude."

"do you have a name sir that we can use or an adders?

The Mite chews at his outer lip for a second, in thought. "Alright. It's late, so he'll be retired for the night, but I can guarantee you a meeting tomorrow morning, on my reputation." He nods, confident. "Yes, there is a Forum in the northeastern part of the city called the Open Palms, it's obvious there will be palm trees there, strange sense of humor these people I swear, and it is a common congregation for people to debate with their political leaders. He will be there, tomorrow morning, 7 AM at the latest. I cannot guarantee what he will want in return, but he's a good sort, I wouldn't worry." He raises furred eyebrows at you. "Deal made?"

"Deal. Again you have our thanks."

Anybody With Knowledge Politics:
A Distributor in the Naverre Confederacy is someone a step above a State Governor. They handle things on a regional level, crossing State lines, and there are only a handful of them in the entire nation. They report directly to the Councilmembers in the Ministry.

"also Sir would it be to much trouble for some more information on what has been happening in town of late we have only gotten into town this morning and we found this mess?"

The Mite shakes his head somberly. "War. What else can be said? We've had that word for centuries but never used it until today. A sad and sorry state of affairs. All I know regarding Al-Jalima's stance is that the students and faculty have been against the idea from the beginning. No one is taking the sudden surprise attack on a non-hostile nation well."

"Thank you for your time."

He then turns to the others.

"I suppose we rest to the inn for the night..."

At the inn, Zeiss proposes that Fiernaceal is the one who takes the bed.

Tab lays out his blanket and winter cloke gose into fox form and takes up a place next to the fire inn the inns main roon

Sethos vomits and passes out, when people attempt to move him he kicks them away in a drunken haze and curls up at the foot of the stairwell, a little ways away from his puke pile.
