I've recently seen the Completionist's review of Wild Arms, and it seems like the sort of thing you'd go for: long, twisted plot with lots of twists, turn-based combat, a few side bosses here and there, and frequent moments where parts of the dialogue gets lost in translation.

There's the low-poly playstation original and a PS2 remake Alter Code F which includes expanded script, remastered music, new characters and additional scenarios of gameplay(don't quite know what that means, I'm just reading this off of the wiki). Unfortunately, the remake suffers terribly in loading time. Available on the Playstation Network for the PS3 and PSP.

Basically I'm asking if you're interested in streaming that sometime in the future.

I've actually played several of the Wild Arms, including the first one.  No real interest in going back though, not in my favorite list of RPGs.  Also I don't own any of them, and I have a billion other things in my queue.

Now that I think back to it, I regret pushing Third into a role his character was unlikely to fill, and I think Kolson would have been better for it persona-wise. Does anybody else feel this way? I know a few voted for Kolson.

In-character, in a vacuum, you are probably right about the character Kolson being the party "leader" but I think we made the right choice.

It may not of been what Third planned for originally, but speaking from personal experience sometimes you have to change your character concept to be what the table needs rather than what you want it to be. He's done a great job of keeping us on task and I have no regrets voting for him.

Right now my mind wandered back to a previous campaign session. Remember how we used to charge-coup-de-grace NPCs without planning ahead and narrowly avoiding the civic consequences? Good times.

So there's this youtube channel online and it's called "Hot Pepper Gaming", and something that they do is they get guests to come review games in less than 10 minutes(guessing), right after they eat a hot pepper.

Arin reviewed "Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes" on a ghost pepper. They'll tell you all about that pepper when you watch the review. And this is how that went. It's hilarious.

Funny video. And poor bunny.

Here Rory, have fun with this one :

The guy who owns the channel is an animator who used the audio from Northernlion's streaming and put some animations on top of it. It's only 1 minute long, but there are other videos like this one.

Now they just have to return their protagonists' ages to adult/young adult and make their character growth relatable(to me). And grid battles!

While I'm crossing my fingers that Square Enix might get their act together I'll believe it when I play it.

I'm with you on the grid battles, Rory. As much as I enjoy booting up Shining Force or FF Tactics I could honestly use a new one to play.

I didn't read it all the way through yet, but i get the gist of it. Pretty cheap gist, though, after they've seen the result speak for itself. Even i could make that statement.

Normally, i'd take that in stride, but Squeenix has lost itself a lot of the benefit of my doubt. All things being the same, though, if they deliver, i'll be here.

So I picked up a PS Vita and I'm now playing Tactics Ogre. And it's cool. I just hope that the other chapters aren't as short as the first one. Can you say for sure, Arch?
